Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

Congratulations and thank you to Robin Vos, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and State Assemblywoman Janel Brandtjen, Chair of the Committee on Campaigns and Elections, for standing by highly respected Justice Michael Gableman on the incredible findings just announced on Election Fraud in the great State of Wisconsin. I feel confident that Robin will exercise his moral duty to follow up on Justice Gableman’s findings. In addition to announcing that they will stay in session and take action to get rid of ERIC and the WEC, which have done some very bad things and made review very difficult (as also noted by the Legislative Audit Bureau), based on the Gableman report, I would imagine that there can only be a Decertification of Electors. This is one of the biggest stories of our generation, even though the Fake News Media will try to play it down as much as they can.

Also, this past October the Racine County Sheriff, Christopher Schmaling, referred felony criminal charges against five of the six members of the Wisconsin Election Commission (“WEC”) for their scheme to violate Wisconsin law and allow illegal vote harvesting in nursing homes. The Sheriff stated that the governing “election statute was in fact not just broken but shattered” in all 72 counties across Wisconsin. Read the full story here.

Numerous other states are likewise finding large scale Election Fraud and irregularities. Interesting time!

Wisconsin election law violations, Racine County sheriff alleges

RACINE, Wis. - Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling unveiled on Thursday, Oct. 28 the results of an investigation into possible election law violations throughout Racine County and Wisconsin. While the sheriff alleges the law has been broken, he is not yet recommending charges.

"Election statute was in fact not just broken, but shattered by members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission," Schmaling said.

Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling unveiled on Thursday, Oct. 28 the results of an investigation into possible election law violations throughout Racine County and Wisconsin.

The case started with Shirley, a resident of the Ridgewood Care Facility in Mount Pleasant, who died in October 2020 and voted in the presidential election. Her daughter, Judy Westphal-Mitchell, filed a complaint alleging her mother with "diminished mental capacity" was taken advantage of.

Racine County Sgt. Michael Luell investigated the issue

"Judy was obviously concerned and asked, you know, ‘How can you actually do this?’ And she was informed that the employees would inquire as to how the resident had voted in the past and they would basically follow those guidelines and vote accordingly," Luell said. "Judy, quite astutely asked, ‘Are you telling me that if my mother can only recall JFK, that the staff would have voted Democrat for her?’ And the answer is yes."

"How could my mother know that her vote was recorded accurately, she couldn't see. Judy was informed by the staff that the staff hoped that the other employees would be honest."

Luell found the Ridgewood Care Facility had an unusual surge in voting activity in 2020. In past years it was roughly ten voters, but in 2020 it rose to 42. Families of eight of them say they think their relatives didn't have the cognitive ability to vote.

"VH would ask her own son, who are you? She couldn't even recognize her own son. And she, she happened to vote in two elections in 2020, but no other elections," said Sgt. Michael Luell, Racine County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer.

The sheriff accuses the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) of breaking the law. The commission is equally divided between Democrats and Republicans. They voted 5-1 during the pandemic – when nursing homes were limiting visitors – that municipalities across the state should not send special voting deputies into nursing homes. In normal years, they are deputized by clerks – pairs of them normally help nursing home residents vote.

"That means the staff at the facility absolutely, positively cannot, by this law. assist in the execution of the vote," Luell said.

But the WEC gave nursing home staff tips on how to help.

"That is the completion of the crime right there. Crimes throughout the state. All 72 counties, every nursing home, resident care facility, right there," Luelle alleged.

Sheriff Schmaling is now asking Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to investigate statewide.

Wisconsin Democrats called the Racine investigation a waste of taxpayer money and a publicity stunt, while former President Donald Trump urged people to watch the news conference.

SIGN UP TODAY: Get daily headlines, breaking news emails from FOX6 News

The investigation only related to this one nursing home. But Sheriff Schmaling said he expects Thursday's announcement will lead to others across the state coming forward.

Schmaling is calling on Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to launch an immediate investigation.

Reaction

The Wisconsin Elections Commission:

Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Paul Farrow

"Anyone who cares at all about election integrity owes the Racine County Sheriff's Department a debt of gratitude for their work today. It is horrific that WEC’s choice to violate state laws may have led to bad actors taking advantage of vulnerable citizens in nursing homes. It’s time for Democrats, the Department of Justice, and the mainstream media to take election integrity concerns seriously."

Democratic Party of Wisconsin interim Executive Director Devin Remiker

"Today’s press conference was nothing more than a publicity stunt. The Racine County Sheriff’s Department has been wasting taxpayer money in an attempt to rehash discredited claims about the 2020 election results. There weren’t any charges filed or even any suggested. The press conference didn’t shed light on any election fraud, but did reveal the Racine County Sheriff’s department may have broken the law during their own farce of an investigation.

"Just last week, the nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau released its election audit, and as recounts, court cases, and Trump’s own Department of Homeland Security have already proven, the LAB found the 2020 election was ‘safe and secure.’ But none of this matters to Republicans, who will go to any lengths to try to cast doubt on the 2020 election results – including apparently breaking the law. This is yet another attempt to attack our democracy and cast doubt on a free and fair election, in which Wisconsinites elected Joe Biden."

I want to commend Sheriff Christopher Schmaling, Racine County Sergeant Michael Luell and the Racine County Sheriff’s Department for their thorough work investigating the apparent fraud and violations of elections law by the Wisconsin Elections Commission and Ridgewood Care Center.

State Sen. Van Wanggaard (R-Racine)

"Whether it was seen in the Legislative Audit Bureau Audit released on Friday, or through today’s presentation by Sheriff Schmaling, it is clear that the staff and commissioners at the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) are consciously deciding to ignore the law. That cannot happen. When the people who are in charge of enforcing the law actively choose to ignore it, they lose ALL credibility. I do not, and I do not know how any person in good faith can claim they have confidence that WEC will follow or enforce the election law when they so blatantly ignore it – repeatedly. There needs to be mass resignations at WEC and prosecutions where appropriate. WEC’s reputation is damaged beyond repair.

"Vulnerable people were taken advantage of and manipulated. Attorney General Josh Kaul and his office’s refusal to even be briefed on this matter is beyond disappointing. It shows that Kaul is more interested in partisan politics than enforcing the law and protecting the vulnerable.

"And to make matters worse, when Legislators passed a law this spring to prevent this behavior in the future, Governor Evers vetoed it and every Democrat voted to continue this felonious behavior.

"If the Attorney General refuses to prosecute, local district attorneys must. Whether it be Patricia Hanson in Racine, Ishmael Ozanne in Dane County, where the GAB is housed, or elsewhere, there must be consequences - legally and/or electorally. Abraham Lincoln once said "Laws without enforcement are merely good advice." He was right.

"This should not have happened last year, and cannot happen in the future. And everyone who isn’t blinded by partisanship knows this.

Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe

"The discussion about Special Voting Deputy access during the COVID-19 pandemic is over 18 months old and has occurred entirely in public meetings. Information about the topic is available on the WEC website here: https://elections.wi.gov/node/7537. Agency staff cannot speak on behalf of our Commissioners without their guidance to do so."

State Rep. Joe Sanfelippo (R-New Berlin)

"I am calling for the immediate dismissal of Meagan Wolfe as the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) Administrator as well as the WEC staff who gave advice to break the law and members of the Elections Commission who voted to break the law. Those actions are the very definition of malfeasance in office.

"And if the Wisconsin Attorney General continues to refuse to uphold the law then he should resign, too.

"With the most recent evidence of election violations in Racine, as well as the findings detailed in the Legislative Audit Bureau report, it has become abundantly clear that a statewide investigation similar to what was done in Racine in necessary. All Wisconsinites, Republicans and Democrats alike, deserve to know which state laws were broken and who should be held accountable."

Gillian Drummond, Director of Communications, Wisconsin Department of Justice

"We’re confident that local law enforcement and District Attorneys in Wisconsin take voter fraud seriously and that, if there are credible allegations of fraud, they will be thoroughly investigated by local law enforcement. In the event that local law enforcement or District Attorneys need assistance in any case involving credible evidence of fraud, the Wisconsin Department of Justice is available to assist. Here, DOJ was previously in contact with Sheriff Schmaling and DOJ advised that certain interviews be conducted that had not been at that time. Significantly, no charges have been filed in this case by the Racine County DA’s office. DOJ is also currently not aware of similar allegations anywhere else in Wisconsin."

Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester)

"People’s trust in Wisconsin’s elections has been tested. Many Wisconsinites feel elections are not safe and secure, and now the Racine County Sheriff’s investigation found clear violations and law-breaking within the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC).

"Clearly there is a severe mismanagement of WEC, and a new administrator is needed. I am calling for the resignation of Meagan Wolfe as Elections Commission Administrator.

"Cover-ups and complacency with law-breaking are red flags Wisconsinites cannot ignore."

Gov. Tony Evers (D)

"Elected officials can—and often do—disagree on plenty. But what is beneath the offices we hold and the responsibility entrusted to us is using our platforms to publicly and baselessly disparage and singularly belittle public servants.

"From our clerks and election administrators to members of the Wisconsin National Guard to Wisconsin Elections Commission staff, hundreds rolled up their sleeves last year, and it is because of them Wisconsin held a free, safe, and fair election last November.

"Speaker Vos’ comments are unbecoming of his office and the people we serve. It’s my expectation—and one Wisconsinites share—that elected officials in this state treat others with civility and respect. The speaker’s behavior today fell woefully short of those expectations."

Senate President Chris Kapenga (R-Delafield)

"As Wisconsin’s faith in elections has faltered, the leadership of the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) has contributed greatly to this distrust. These suspicions were not only confirmed but deepened by the audit conducted by the nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau.

"And now, the investigation results from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office have made it abundantly clear that WEC is responsible for flagrantly breaking our state election laws.

11 UN Members Condemn North Korea’s Missile Tests

UPDATED 10:07 AM PT – Tuesday, March 8, 2022

Several countries are calling North Korea out for its surge in missile tests this year. At the United Nations on Monday, U.S. ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield read a joint statement from 11 countries condemning North Korea’s posturing. Thomas-Greenfield also criticized the UN Security Council for failing to hold the Kim Jong-un regime accountable.

“While the DPRK escalates its destabilizing actions, the Security Council continues to remain silent,” she asserted. “Each ballistic missile launch that results in inaction by the council erodes the credibility of the UN Security Council itself in addressing the DPRK and undermines the global non-proliferation regime.”

Thomas-Greenfield has been trying to rally international support against North Korea’s ambitions since it fired its latest ballistic missile last week near its neighbors South Korea and Japan. This was the ninth missile test conducted by the regime this year so far and it came after a surge in missile tests in January.

While the DPRK escalates its destabilizing actions, the UNSC remains silent. Each ballistic missile launch that results in inaction by the UNSC erodes its own credibility. Thank you 🇦🇱🇦🇺🇧🇷🇫🇷🇮🇪🇯🇵🇳🇿🇳🇴🇰🇷🇬🇧 for once again joining us in calling out the DPRK's escalatory provocations. https://t.co/UDKOlUSnGm

— Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield (@USAmbUN) March 7, 2022

Additionally, North Korean state media touted that their missiles can hit as far as Guam and the military is quickly developing a spy satellite. America’s UN ambassador warned these actions are blatant violations of several sanctions imposed on the country.

“Instead of embarking on a path of diplomacy and de-escalation, the DPRK has chosen to carry out an increasingly escalatory series of ballistic missile launches in total violation of international law,” stated Thomas-Greenfield. “We stand ready to collaborate and determine a mutually agreeable approach with other council members to address the DPRK’s provocations.”

In the meantime, the 11 UN members are demanding the Security Council to use its full powers to quell North Korea’s ambitions. Meanwhile, America’s Special Envoy to North Korea, Sung Kim is trying to rally regional partners behind a strong push to get the regime to the negotiating table through diplomatic channels.

Experts warn, however, as the Biden administration is focusing foreign policy resources on Russia and Ukraine, North Korea could push its limits with their missile tests.

Russia Fails To Appear At UN Hearing To Talk About Ukraine Invasion

UPDATED 9:44 AM PT – Tuesday, March 8, 2022

A United Nations hearing at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) was cancelled after a representative from Russia failed to appear. This session was part of a longer legal dispute after Ukraine requested for the ICJ to impose a provisional order putting an end to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The hearing was meant to allow the representative to present legal evidence proving that Ukraine committed acts of genocide.

“His Excellency Ambassador Alexander Shulgin, ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, indicated that his government did not intend to participate in the oral proceedings,” explained ICJ President, Joan Donoghue. “The court regrets the non-appearance of the Russian Federation in these oral proceedings.”

In the aftermath of the hearing, a representative from Ukraine, Anton Korynevych, decided to take the time to send a message to Russia denying their claims of genocide. He also called for a ceasefire, so that both countries can settle the dispute.

“Russia accuses Ukraine of committing genocide,” said Korynevych. “Ukraine denies that claim in the strongest possible terms and we will prove it. Russia claims that in order to stop a non-existent genocide, it can invade a sovereign state, Ukraine. Ukraine rejects this baseless claim. My message to Russia is this: let us settle our dispute like civilized nations, lay down your arms and put forward your evidence. Ukraine respects this court and follows its orders. Russia must as well.”

During a press conference concerning the defunct trial, the Ukraine representative repeated the call for the court to impose a provisional order against the invasion.

“We asked the court to impose the order on provisional measures as soon as possible, urgently, because this is needed for our country, for our people,” Korynevych stressed. “So we do have precedents, we do have case law in which the court was rather fast and effective in the imposition of provisional measures. So we hope and we ask the court to do that urgently because this is a matter of life and death for our Ukrainian citizens.”

The court is expected to make a decision in the legal dispute after both sides present their evidence.

the oily brown honey like substance pouring into the cup is called

Crema

What Is Crema In Coffee And Troubleshooting Tips For Taste

You’ve probably seen an image of coffee somewhere, like at the beginning of this article or a coffee shop, that looks absolutely incredible. It looks thick and creamy with an assortment of appealing colors. The coffee just screams at you to drink it! But what exactly is crema in coffee?

Crema definitely makes coffee look appealing. But does it really add the flavor the look of the crema gives off? How can you pull a good crema from you espresso? Let’s dive in and solve all the mysteries and give some tips for what crema can do for you.

What Is Crema In Coffee?

Crema in coffee from portafilter extraction

Crema is the tan colored foam that forms on top of coffee as you pull a shot of espresso. After coffee beans are roasted, they begin to release CO2. Most of CO2 is released into the air between roasting and grinding the beans. However, the CO2 that remains is released during grinding. Now let’s move onto what happens as we pull a shot of espresso.

An espresso machine works on pressure. Water is forced through coffee beans placed in a portafilter, and the coffee is aerated. Basically, natural fats and oils from the bean are suspended in micro bubbles of air. This is what gives us our first glimpse of crema during the coffee extraction. That’s where we first begin to see our light tans and browns of crema in coffee.

We then begin to see the part that we all think of when we see crema in coffee. The lighter coffee comes first and then darker coffee is brewed after. The lighter coffee that was pulled from the shot filters back up to the top of the coffee and settles to the top of the shot. Think of it somewhat like what we learned about in school when mixing oil and water. The lighter foamy crema is now settling on top of the darker coffee.

Some people refer to the crema as the “Guinness effect” because it’s similar to the head on a pour of the popular Irish stout. Even an entry-level espresso machine can produce a really good crema. And crema makes the perfect espresso shot and makes the espresso taste good, right? Well not so fast. It’s not so much like the head of a Guinness where it helps make the drink.

Effects Of Crema In Coffee

I think a lot of us, especially, non-coffee connoisseurs are led to believe that a nice looking crema makes or breaks the espresso shot. Among connoisseurs there is actually some debate to the importance of crema in coffee. Because as the industry grew the crema became a symbol for good coffee, but the connoisseurs disagree. Crema because a symbol for two things:

That the bean’s natural fat/oil content was higher and it could then be assumed to be processed at the plantation in a preferable manner.

That the coffee had been roasted recently enough that it still had some C02 out-gassing from the beans.

Therefore, baristas became very focused on making a good crema because it represented a good espresso. But that’s not really the case. You can have a great looking crema with terrible tasting espresso, and a bad looking crema where the coffee tastes great.

So at the end of the day, the effects of crema in coffee are minuscule other than it helps make the shot of espresso look good. Now, there may be a psychological impact since we really do eat with our eyes. But in reality crema doesn’t have all that much of an impact on the taste of the espresso.

Perfect crema in coffee cup

Good Crema And Bad Crema

Now that we know that the crema doesn’t really effect the taste of coffee it’s still something that you’ll get as you pull your espresso shot. So you still want it to look good, don’t you? Especially, if you’re serving the espresso shot to others who still think that a good crema equates to good flavor.

Good Crema

A good crema should be a nice rich tan color with some reds and gold in it. It should be really smooth and without large bubbles in it. Crema relies on thousands of tiny bubbles to create a foamy, but velvety surface.

The crema should also last for a little while, and it shouldn’t dissipate back into the coffee right away. However, the crema isn’t something that will last your entire coffee. It should last for about two minutes before it dissipates back into the espresso shot. So it’s not too thick that it seems to last forever, and not so thin that it disappears right away. The ideal crema takes up about 1/10 of the espresso shot.

Bad Crema

You might be able to figure out what makes up bad crema based on the good crema. A bad crema is typically a very light tan color. If it’s darker than ideal it’s not much of a problem. But when the crema is a very light tan it can indicate that the water temperature is too low which can lead to a poor tasting espresso.

Another problem you might encounter is large bubbles in the espresso. Also effecting the taste of coffee, this typically happens if the extraction is too fast or if you’re using a light roasted coffee.
