It's the underlying financing that's broken, just like in March of 2007, when Bear Stearns widdle fund defaulted. Then crude spiked on the funding issue to $147. Not long after that, the stock market started to wobble and the whole game came apart, with a little help of theft of collateral from AIG, by GS, and ouright unpoliced naked shorting in anything, just to raise cash. Then came Muh TARP to cover it allllll up.
