Detective William D. Kinane joined the New York City Police Department on January 25, 1982. He was promoted to Detective in April 2000. A 25-year veteran of the NYPD, Detective Kinane served in several commands, including the 63 Precinct, the Licensed Division, and the Narcotics Division. Detective Kinane retired on August 1, 2002. He died on June 13, 2017.
