In my humble but accurate opinion there are 2 types of draft dodgers:
1) Anti-American soy boy draft dodgers who refuse to do their part to defend our Constitution
2) Anti-banker war draft dodgers who refuse to fight other nations for nefarious purposes
It took me many years to understand and accept the distinction. My dad is a Vietnam vet, did a 2 year tour ‘68-‘69 as a helicopter gunner, 1st Cav, fwiw. He flew everyday, usually in a LOH. When he was getting discharged, they told him his life expectancy in that M.O.S. was 1 minute. He was lost in the jungle alone for a week after chopper crash. He was an “unofficial” POW for a few days and was part of an illegal and unofficial trade between the U.S. and the VC. He once met U.S. Senator Jesse Helms (N.C.) and gave him his medals and told Senator Helms to tell LBJ to shove them up his ass. Senator Helms graciously agreed but I doubt he actually did that. Anyway, my dad didn’t dodge the draft. He went “for his country”, but really for what?
In terms of search engines we’re screwed. Just use DDG and dig through the pages until you find real results. I think they still post them, they just bury them on page 10 or whatever, beneath the fluff (just like Google)
Probably, but the bigger issue/question is: when did they start (under whom)?
RRN comms! RRN certainly has sensational and often totally unbelievable headlines, and they have the “this ain’t real news”
disclaimer (I concede that much of it may be fake), but what if they do mix in some real news? The disclaimer they have protects them from lawsuits (libel/slander), so they have that disclaimer so that they can stay in operation. But what if some of the storiesare true? This GP bio lab story seems to validate the RRN story. I think some of RRN is real, you just have to be a critical thinker and weed through the made up stories and determine what’s real.
That’s the “weed through” stuff.
A decade ago I would have said that’s crazy talk. Now? Who the hell knows?
