We all deserve judgment. No one deserves mercy. The greatest miracle is God’s grace. We do not deserve it.
There has to be an intelligent designer unbound by time, space, and matter. God is more than the finite mind can comprehend and that’s by design. He gives us enough evidence of His existence in Creation and mercifully gives us a Way to reconcile with Him.
It’s given, not earned. That’s the fallacy of many religions, including Catholicism. They teach a works salvation. Salvation is by Grace alone by faith alone. God despises self righteous works, they are like filthy rags to Him.
For there to be “anything”, in so far as the human mind can comprehend it, there has to be a Designer with no beginning or origin.
I concede there are many overzealous people who think themselves righteous and share the Gospel by hitting others in the head with their Bibles. On 8kun we’d refer to them as shills, or glowies, or paytriots. Pretending to be something they’re not and often believing their own lies. God knows the heart and cannot be deceived.
Modern “science” and the educational system go out of their way to promote any theory other than the Creation theory. If the Creation theory is true (and it is), they have a huge accountability problem.
