There was a pretty detailed post when the tonga eruption happened about a guy and his wife who ran a tattoo shop
and they had kids in some of these images
the same time that video with the dogs came out.
there were more connection that made this theory plausible wish i could find the images.

This lady gave an interview on a news network as well and I do not recall if it was her that died or one of the dogs.
