Full video of interviews with WI nursing home patients who voted in 2020 released

An absentee ballot was cast for one nursing home resident who had not voted since being institutionalized since the 1970s.

The Amistad Project released the full video on Friday of Wisconsin nursing home patients who had absentee ballots cast in their name for the 2020 presidential election.

The video shows Amistad Project attorney Erick Kaardal interviewing seven Wisconsin families of nursing home patients who had absentee ballots cast for them during the 2020 presidential election despite the fact that they are in poor health. The patients’ families attested that they are unable to vote.

In the case of one nursing home resident, Walt Jankowski, he has been institutionalized since the 1970s. The 2020 presidential election is the only one with a record of him voting since being in a home, his son told Kaardal.

Retired state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman, who is heading the special counsel for the Wisconsin state Assembly, found that 91 nursing homes in the counties of Milwaukee, Racine, Dane, Kenosha, and Brown had voter turnout rates ranging from 95% to 100% in 2020.

For that election, the Wisconsin Election Commission bypassed the state's Special Voting Deputy process, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, under which the clerk of each municipality brings "enough ballots to each residential care facility to vote" and "assist the voters with the voting process."

Instead, the commission had absentee ballots sent to nursing home residents by mail. The sheriff found that facility staff, under the guise of "helping" residents to vote, coaxed votes from some whom family members believed incapable of voting.

Illinois Illegally Denied Elections Group Access To Voter Records, Federal Court Rules

A federal court ruled that Illinois violated the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) when it refused to provide an election integrity group with access to the state’s voter roll.

“Election officials must allow citizens to see what they are doing,” said J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), the successful plaintiff in the case.

Indianapolis-based PILF describes itself as “the nation’s only public interest law firm dedicated wholly to election integrity.” The nonprofit organization “exists to assist states and others to aid the cause of election integrity and fight against lawlessness in American elections.”

PILF regularly uses the Public Disclosure Provision of the NVRA, along with state and federal open records laws that require government records be made available to the public, the group stated in the legal complaint (pdf) filed July 27, 2020, in the Springfield office of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Using records and data compiled through these open records laws, PILF “analyzes the programs and activities of state and local election officials in order to determine whether lawful efforts are being made to keep voter rolls current and accurate,” the complaint states.

The NVRA provides that “Each State shall maintain for at least 2 years and shall make available for public inspection and, where available, photocopying at a reasonable cost, all records concerning the implementation of programs and activities conducted for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and currency of official lists of eligible voters.”

The complaint cites Project Vote v. Long, a 2012 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, in stating that the Public Disclosure Provision of the NVRA “embodies Congress’s conviction that Americans who are eligible under law to vote have every right to exercise their franchise, a right that must not be sacrificed to administrative chicanery, oversights, or inefficiencies.”

The ruling (pdf) in the case, Public Interest Legal Foundation v. Matthews, court file 20-cv-3190, came on March 8. The defendants are Bernadette Matthews, who was sued in her official capacity as executive director of the Illinois State Board of Elections, the board itself, and two other board officials.

District Judge Sue Myerscough, who was appointed by President Barack Obama, found that the defendants “acted in violation of the Public Disclosure Provision of the NVRA when Defendants refused to make available for viewing and photocopying the full statewide voter registration list.”

Facebook Defends Allowing Calls For Russian Death As Kremlin Brands Meta 'Extremist Organization'

Facebook has responded to a leaked email which revealed that the company is allowing users in certain countries to call for the death of Russians and Russian soldiers.

Spokesman Nick Clegg, head of global affairs (and former head of England's Liberal Democrats), says Facebook is simply allowing Ukrainians to express their "resistance and fury at the invading military forces," adding that it does not mean the company tolerates "discrimination, harrassment or violence towards Russians" on its platform.

Clegg said the move is a "temporary decision taken in extraordinary and unprecedented circumstances."

On Thursday, Reuters reported that Facebook "will allow Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to call for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers in the context of the Ukraine invasion."

Meanwhile,Russia has opened a criminal investigation against Meta Platforms and Facebook while also moving to ban Instagram from the country, after this week Facebook said it changed its hate speech policy to allow for calls of violence against Russians in the context of the invasion of Ukraine.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Friday said the government will take "decisive measures" if the reports prove to be true, which first surfaced based on internal Meta emails. "We don't want to believe the Reuters report - it is just too difficult to believe," he stated.

Russia opens criminal investigation of Meta over death calls on Facebook

Russia opened a criminal case against Facebook’s parent Meta Platforms on Friday after the social network changed its hate speech rules to allow users to call for “death to the Russian invaders” in the context of the war with Ukraine.

It was not immediately clear what the consequences of the criminal case might be.

Two weeks into Russia’s war in Ukraine, a Meta spokesperson said on Thursday the company had temporarily eased its rules for political speech, allowing posts such as “death to the Russian invaders,” although it would not allow calls for violence against Russian civilians.

Russia opened a criminal case against Facebook’s parent Meta Platforms on Friday after the social network changed its hate speech rules to allow users to call for “death to the Russian invaders” in the context of the war with Ukraine.

Russian prosecutors asked a court to designate the U.S. tech giant as an “extremist organization,” and the communications regulator said it was restricting access to Meta’s Instagram.

“A criminal case has been initiated … in connection with illegal calls for murder and violence against citizens of the Russian Federation by employees of the American company Meta, which owns the social networks Facebook and Instagram,” Russia’s Investigative Committee said.

The committee reports directly to President Vladimir Putin. It was not immediately clear what the consequences of the criminal case might be.

No comment was immediately available from Meta in response to a Reuters request.

Two weeks into Russia’s war in Ukraine, a Meta spokesperson said on Thursday the company had temporarily eased its rules for political speech, allowing posts such as “death to the Russian invaders,” although it would not allow calls for violence against Russian civilians.

Meta said the temporary change aimed to allow for forms of political expression that would normally violate its rules. Its oversight board said on Friday that it was closely following the war in Ukraine, and how Meta is responding.

Internal Meta emails seen by Reuters showed the U.S. company had temporarily allowed posts that call for the death of Putin or Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

“We hope it is not true because if it is true then it will mean that there will have to be the most decisive measures to end the activities of this company,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Photos: ISIS Terrorists Pledge Allegiance To Their New Leader

ISIS propaganda is back…….FFS

On March 11, ISIS’s news agency, Amaq, released photos showing terrorists of the group in the Levant and West Africa pledging allegiance to their new leader Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurashi.

Abu al-Hassan succeeded Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, who died during a US raid on his hideout in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib on February 3.

ISIS confirmed the death of Abu Ibrahim in an audio message that was released by the al-Furqan Foundation for Media Production on March 10. In the same message, the terrorist group revealed that Abu Ibrahim named Abu al-Hassan as his successor before his death.

The first set of photos released by Amaq shows some of the group’s terrorists in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk pledging allegiance to Abu Hassan.

Omicron subvariant expected to double cases 'in the next four to six weeks'

UP NEXT

New South Wales COVID-19 cases are rising, which experts believe is due to a new subvariant of Omicron called BA.2. Infectious diseases expert ANU…

NSW Health has urged the state government to scrap singing and dancing, encourage working from home and bring back density limits and indoor face mask mandates as COVID-19 cases increase amid the spread of the BA.2 Omicron subvariant and as winter approaches.

The return to the COVID-19 restrictions – which were in place before February 18 - was recommended to Health Minister Brad Hazzard as part of an internal presentation earlier this week with Deputy Chief Health Officer Marianne Gale, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

But Mr Hazzard revealed he was “not at all keen to be heading back the path that has exhausted everybody” two years into the COVID-19 pandemic.

He told the publication tightening restrictions would “be a last resort from my perspective”.

It is not clear whether NSW Health wanted to reintroduce the restrictions immediately or at a later date.

Excerpts of the internal presentation obtained by the publication reveal NSW Health is worried about the "substantial rise" in daily COVID-19 infections in March, April and early May.

The revelations come after the federal government on Friday announced a $2.1 billion investment to protect Australians against COVID-19 and influenza this winter.

More than half of the money - $1.2 billion - will be allocated to aged and disability care, with $571 million for vaccines and $356 million to protect other vulnerable residents.

The investment comes as authorities brace for co-circulation of COVID-19 and influenza - which has not had high transmission in Australia while the border was shut - this winter.

Health authorities in NSW also remain concerned by the spread of the new Omicron sub-variant of COVID-19 which could see case numbers soar.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard on Thursday told a budget estimates hearing the BA.2 Omicron subvariant could lead to a doubling in case numbers.

The comments came as the state reported 16,288 positive tests and four deaths on Thursday, an increase of almost 5,000 cases on the same day last week.

It followed 13,179 cases on Wednesday, 13,018 on Tuesday and 9,017 on Monday.

But daily infections dropped slightly on Friday to 14,034 and again on Saturday to 12,850.

Total Clown Show: Biden White House Activates Dozens of Tik Tok Influencers to Spread Ukraine Propaganda – Holds Meeting to Coach Them

This week, the Biden White House hosted dozens of the country’s top Tik Tok influencers on a zoom call, presenting them with “key information” about the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict so they can relay the DC Swamp’s propaganda to their millions of followers.

Because, if Americans aren’t buying what the legacy media is selling, it’s time to activate the selfabsorbed billboards that are called social media stars to get the propaganda out.

Just like with Covid, online influencers are who Biden’s handlers turn to when the times get tough.

Throughout the pandemic, the White House has been shelling out millions in taxpayer dollars to dozens of social media and celebrity influencers – ranging from heavily followed figures on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, up to mainstream celebrities – in order to promote the experimental COVID-19 vaccine and combat any so-called misinformation.

As even the New York Times put it, Biden has recruited “an influencer army.”

Now, with the narrative spinning wildly out of control in Ukraine, approaching the elitist cabal’s ‘too close to reality for comfort’ zone and tanking domestic support for the Swamp’s agenda, the Biden Clown Show is Scrambling to activate their bought and paid for pseudo-celebrity agents to course correct the situation.

On Thursday afternoon, 30 TikTok stars were briefed by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki about exactly what to say when discussing several topics, including US goals in Ukraine, how Biden and the State Department are coordinating with NATO, and the response in the event that Putin decides to use nuclear weapons.

According to the Washington Post, the Biden Administration has targeted TikTok as an outlet to disseminate its message because, especially with the current conflict in Ukraine, the platform has served as a “primary outlet for spreading news to the masses abroad.”

From WaPo:

“Ukrainian citizens hiding in bomb shelters or fleeing their homes have shared their stories to the platform, while dangerous misinformation and Russian propaganda have also spread. And TikTok stars, many with millions of followers, have increasingly sought to make sense of the crisis for their audiences.

“We recognize this is a critically important avenue in the way the American public is finding out about the latest,” said White House director of digital strategy, Rob Flaherty, “so we wanted to make sure you had the latest information from an authoritative source.”

The Biden Administration teamed up with a non-profit group called Gen Z for Change to help find the star content creators who participated in the briefing. Between the 30 influencers who were chosen to attend, they have tens of millions of followers combined, and some have hundreds of thousands tune in every time they host a live stream.

The session apparently had its intended effect, leaving the attendees feeling “more empowered to debunk misinformation and communicate effectively about the crisis,” according to WaPo.

The propaganda blitz was led by Matt Miller, a special adviser for communications at the White House National Security Council, and Jen Psaki.

During the call, Psaki ’empowered’ the influencers to “debunk misinformation” with wild conspiracies that are approved by the left, such as the already-debunked claims of Russia stealing the US election in 2016.

Psaki during the influencer briefing:

“If you look back at 2014, and frankly even 2016, when Russia invaded Ukraine and then in 2016, when they, you know, of course, hacked our election here, we did not do that, we did not declassify information.”
