Freedom Convoy accused of trying to overthrow government
Canada’s National Security Advisor Jody Thomas has claimed that “there is no doubt” Freedom Convoy organizers “came to overthrow the government”.
PM Justin Trudeau felt it necessary to invoke the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history to enable special powers to crush protests, but Thomas did admit the government must address root cause issues.
“This is a problem that is not going away and it will require significant rebuilding to understand and to try to resolve. Domestic, ideologically motivated extremism is here and it is here to stay.”

Jody Thomas is projecting her own ideologically motivated extremism and smearing hard working, patriotic Canadians as 'extremists' for exercising their rights under the Canada Charter.
"It's here to stay".
Wrong. When the movement takes over and dominates, it is not an 'extremism'. The only extremism would be from projecting ideologue extremists like Jody Thomas.
