Today, we lost a great patriot in the passing of Brig Gen Bob Cardenas.

 

Among his accomplishments, including evading capture in Germany during WWII, he was the pilot who ‘dropped’ Chuck Yeager as he flew the Bell X1 & became the first human to fly faster than the speed of sound.
