300 years ago it was a fact that men couldn't fly. Facts are provable. What you think is true might be a fact, and might be your faith. But in order for you to demonstrate the truth of your facts, you need evidence or to be able to demonstrate the truth of that fact. You can't do that with the Bible. There may be ways to prove the historicity of events, but not a way to prove anything that is proffered on the state of souls or spirits or mythos. If you think you know the truth in matters of faith, that's your personal beliefs, not everyone else's "truth." In other words, you can't sauce your truth, because it is faith, not fact.
