Your interpretation of the Bible is not "truth" to me. I don't know how else to explain that to you. We have different beliefs. We don't have different facts though. We will both die without oxygen. I don't understand why you need a description of my near death experience. Go ahead and tell me what The Truth is. Apparently I just don't know what that is, and since we can't rely upon our own language, apparently I have no way of knowing what the word means. And no way of knowing what is a fact.

You are talking about beliefs.

(1) the body of real things, events, and facts : ACTUALITY

(2): the state of being the case : FACT

(3) often capitalized : a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality

I believe Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Light. I can't prove it in court. I can't bring the sauce that will make the jury accept my truth as their fact. The same can be said about most religious beliefs and texts. Outside of proving evidence exists for something in the historicity of the Bible, matters of spirituality are personal and subjective "truths."

No I'm not. I'm saying your truth isn't necessarily our fact. I don't need to it be proven that we die without oxygen for the fact to be true. You CAN prove it. You CAN'T prove your personal beliefs are our facts.
