K. K. R. = KKR. So, what is KKR? KKR is an investment firm that specializes in “Responsible Investment” by putting money into companies that focus on intelligently managing environmental, social and governance issues. Whatever.

 

KKR has global reach. One program is called KKR Global Impact Fund which invests based on an organization’s ability to implement the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, specifically ones relating to “climate action, lifelong learning, sustainable living, and inclusive growth”. Funded partners during the pandemic include businesses involved in (I kid you not) remote learning, management of pandemic-related waste, and helping businesses navigate the UK’s new pandemic regulations. Non pandemic investments include organizations working on the usual clean water, disadvantaged education type programs.

So here’s where it gets interesting. Who co- heads KKR Global Impact? Ken Mehlman. Ken (Director of GWB’s WH Political Affairs and former Chair of the RNC) Mehlman. Yes, that Ken Mehlman.

So I looked a little bit deeper into what Ken Mehlman’s been up to lately, and lo and behold! In 2017, (same year Q started posting) Mehlman was named Chair of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's Policy Advisory Board, you know, the one that poured money into swing states like Wisconsin to steal the 2020 election? Like with David Plouffe?

 

I’m sure there is tons more to dig on with KKR for any anon who feels like looking.
