Well boys & girls, anon has some good news to report. Oldanon has two kids, grandkids, can't teach kids anything, don't try, they more than full grown. So it's been that way for all these decades. Don't live near them. Anyway, one of them has started telephoning me on the weekends every 2 weeks. It's a treat for oldanon. He is in hi-up management in manufacturing industry. The times are tough, supply lines is his responsibility so we usually talk about that. We did today and then I steered it to gas prices, which led to inflation, which led to Ukraine. I got him there and had to tread very gently.
Spoke a little about biolabs, Chernobyl, expected maybe Putin goes in to get Donbass, but the whole country, Lindsay calling for assassination of Putin (he heard about that). At some point he asked me the question : where did you get that? Quickly asked him a question before he finished asking his: blank, with Biden and Harris, with Putin in Ukraine, inflation do you think this can go on for 3 more years.
He softly answered: no way.
That's a great way to put it anon. I didn't consider that. It makes me think. Anyway, I got one of my kids attention. We ended the 1.5 hr. call with his saying he's going to keep calling me. …easier to swallow. Yep, I'm taking your advise. Next call I'm not going to bring any heavy shit up like I did today. Note: as we were ending the call I promised him that the next call I wouldn't bring up the political shit but I had to tell him these things today. His answer? Can't for the life of me remember his exact words but it was like he said it's fine, I am ready to hear about those things. I'll keep calling you.
