C-5's are notorious for breakdowns. Been on a few that broke and returned to base. Got stuck in Hawaii and Australia for a few days because of breaks… didn't mind.
Probably fuel pump issue trapping fuel in a wing. Also had one drop fast for a burned up environmental system.
