There is a site that shows live data including volume. Will post link if I can find it again. Stopped watching years ago. Took my bow after KITCO stopped reporting silver lease rates. They never bothered to update their site and remove the chart. Just stopped acknowledging them. Rates would spike to crazy negative percentages (-15 to -17%). Meaning someone was getting paid a serious rate of return to short silver.
You are probably right about the longer time line.
