Experienced a small victory. The entire state was not enforcing anything except for two Indian reservations. I know the leaders are dirty af. Ones firstborn hung himself n rumor is that his father (the chairman) had been sexually abusing him and “passing him around for others to abuse.” Uhhh that sounds like trafficking. That pos chairman has set up a foster home..on the Rez. I think it just opened or soon.. can’t think of the name.
Child services takes all their children. Child services taking their kids is the first thing you hear Natives complain about the most. and they believe it’s just the non Native American government stealing their kids and so they trust this pos chairman thinking he just had this place on full lockdown for two years, with patrolled curfew even.. in a town of 400, to “keep them safe”. You could hear them drive the entire circumference of town because it’s that small. It felt like what I imagined some type of prison camp would be. I couldn’t even walk my dogs at night. Hope he gets tried n fried.
But.. the real victory was when I was at the store today and almost nobody was wearing a mask except for the lady standing in line behind me. I saw her look around and notice she was the only one wearing a mask n she felt out of place n slowly pulled it down below her nose. She kept her mouth covered, though. I could tell she felt peer pressure 😆. Baby steps for the sheep, I guess.
