Romania comments on foreign drone crash

The aircraft that came from Ukraine was an unarmed “toy” that could only be used for reconnaissance, the defense minister said

Romania’s defense minister downplayed the incident in which a drone entered its airspace from Ukraine and landed in a rural area. In an interview on Monday evening, Vasile Dincu dismissed the aircraft as so small and unthreatening that he initially thought reports of its discovery were a prank.

The mystery drone was recovered by villagers in the Bistrita-Nasaud County in northern Romania on Monday from some bushes where it was stuck.

Speaking to Digi24 news, the minister said the drone was almost a “toy” with a wingspan of about one meter and that didn’t carry any explosives and posed no threat to Romanians.

“I am from Bistrita; the area where it fell is close to where I was born. At first I thought it was a prank by a modeling club,” he said. “A villager whom I know told me about what had happened, and only then I realized it wasn’t a joke.”

Purported images of the aircraft circulated by Romanian media show what appears to be a Russian-made Orlan-10 short-range reconnaissance aircraft. The minister suggested, however, that the aircraft was an old Soviet-made drone that “was taken out of use since 1989.”

The official may have confused the tiny plane with a large Soviet-designed Tu-141 Strizh, which flew through Romanian airspace last Thursday before going over Hungary and crashing in Zagreb, Croatia.

Dincu’s Croatian counterpart claimed last week that bomb fragments had been recovered at the crash site. The Romanian minister said the latest news he heard from Croatia was that the drone “did not intend to destroy anything.”

Dincu said technical analysis of the aircraft recovered near his place of birth was expected to be complete on Tuesday. He said the drone’s relatively low endurance led him to believe that it was likely launched from somewhere in the area of Ukraine’s Carpathian Mountains across Romania’s northern border.

He suggested Russia may somehow be responsible, with the presumed goal of “discouraging the countries around Ukraine” from offering Kiev military support.

Japan expands list of banned exports to Russia

It now includes nearly 300 goods and technologies

Japan has broadened the list of goods and technologies that are prohibited from being exported to Russia as part of the sanctions package imposed against the country due to its military operation in Ukraine.

According to an announcement by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on Tuesday, instead of the previously listed 57 titles, the restrictions now cover around 300 items.

The list includes semiconductors, equipment for maritime and aviation security, telecommunications equipment, communications equipment, as well as military products including weapons, explosives, and bulletproof vests. In addition, restrictions have been placed on the export of equipment and products related to nuclear energy, products of the chemical industry, various sensors, and software.

Japan’s export ban will become effective on March 18. The restrictions affect 49 Russian companies and organizations, including state enterprises Rosoboronexport and Rostec, as well as Russia’s Federal Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service. Similar measures were also introduced against the Ministry of Defense of Belarus and Belarusian tech manufacturer Integral.

Japan had previously imposed several rounds of sanctions against Russia, joining a number of Western states in condemning its ongoing military operation in Ukraine. In addition to export restrictions, Japan froze the assets of seven of Russia’s largest banks which were also sanctioned by Brussels and Washington, and banned the export of oil refining equipment to Russia.

Kiev reveals how many military weapons it has handed out to civilians

The number of firearms distributed to the public measures in the tens of thousands

The Ukrainian authorities have distributed tens of thousands of assault rifles to civilians, Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky revealed in an interview on Tuesday. The decision was part of a policy aimed at turning the Ukrainian public into a resistance force against Russian troops attacking the country.

The Ukrainian government started handing out arms usually reserved for trained personnel such as soldiers and police officers in late February, days after the Russian attack began. In an interview this week, the minister said the option of receiving an assault rifle remains open to citizens.

“Any Ukrainian citizen may go to the police, prove he actually works to defend Ukraine … and get a weapon accordingly. We are talking about automatic weapons first and foremost. We have distributed several tens of thousands of assault rifles throughout the country,” Monastyrsky said.

The official added that the policy of arming the public has contributed to Ukraine’s ability to “hold back the enemy for three weeks.”

The Russian military says it has refrained from trying to capture major Ukrainian cities using full force, to avoid unnecessary casualties among civilians. Moscow claims it is only attacking military targets.

Coinciding with the decision to arm civilians, Kiev announced it would set free combat-experienced felons who agree to take up arms and fight against the Russians.

A follow-up law passed by the Ukrainian parliament last week allows Ukrainian nationals and foreign citizens to use without legal repercussions any firearms in their possession against “individuals conducting armed aggression” against the country.

Under international law, people living under conditions of war should be divided into combatants and noncombatants, with both groups enjoying various privileges under the Geneva Conventions.

Combatant members of organized militias should wear distinctive signs identifying them as such and carry their arms openly. Otherwise the protections do not apply.

There is a fascinating Substack series titled “Prussia Gate” that makes an extremely compelling argument for who Trump’s hidden enemy really is.

Has Trump been hinting at a war against fascism and Nazism this whole time? The Prussia Gate series makes a convincing argument for that being the case and it sheds light on the reality of Ukraine.

If Ukraine is truly the deep state epicenter, at some point, somebody has to go in and remove the rot from within. Sometimes to remove a cancer you have to go in and cut it out. Maybe that is exactly what Russia is doing.

The timing of this effort is so important. Putin has sought to liberate the post-Soviet countries from Nazi Fascism for decades. He invaded such countries during the tenure of every President we have had going back to the year 2000, except for one - Trump.

Putin’s goals of liberating post-Soviet countries didn’t change during Trump’s time as President. So why didn’t he invade Ukraine earlier? Could it actually be that in Trump, Putin finally found an ally to fight against the deep state and the hidden enemy? Invading Ukraine on Trump’s watch would have been a political disaster. Trump told us he was going to get us out of wars. Publicly, that’s exactly what he did.

Remember, the most important aspect of the 2020 election was that Donald Trump won in a massive landslide. If it hadn’t been a landslide, the deep state wouldn’t have had to cheat so brazenly, and the fraud wouldn’t be so obvious. If Trump needed a landslide, then he couldn’t afford any major political setbacks. He was already up against constant attacks and lies from the MSM, the democrats, big tech, social media etc.

He got his landslide anyway.

A Russian incursion into Ukraine on Trump’s watch would have certainly been a political nightmare that could have derailed that landslide. Now, with Biden in office, there is no better time to deliver a critical blow to the enemy, a massive red pill to the masses, while annihilating the deep state in the process.

I’m merely making connections trying to figure out what I think is happening in Ukraine. I still don’t have all the answers, but I do know this. The MSM has lied to us about:

I could go on and on. So when the MSM is telling us that Russia and Putin are the enemy, I can be almost certain that they are not.

I can’t tell you definitively that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are working together. I am not privy to their private conversations. However, they have a shared goal, and they share a common enemy. This wouldn’t be the first time these two have set out to defeat a common enemy to reach such a shared goal.

The deep state is the greatest enemy of the United States of America. The deep state is also the sworn enemy of Russia.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
