Check out this image. When I first saw it I failed to recognize the horns. The horns are disguised as part of the striped hat.. Wonder if that's blue and white stripes?

 

Notice the broken pillar to the side, which he seems to be pointing to? And the tree stump behind.

I believe that's a reference to what they wiped out;
