Anti-Radiation Pills Sell Out in US Amid Panic Buying Triggered by 'Nuclear War' Media Hysteria

Amid Moscow’s ongoing special operation to demilitarise and "de-Nazify" Ukraine, NATO countries have rejected repeated calls from Kiev to impose a no-fly zone to stop Russian warplanes from carrying out missions, arguing that it could trigger a Third World War, which may end up being a nuclear one.

Americans have been panic-buying potassium iodide tablets, which can counteract the effects of radiation poisoning, with manufacturers in the US confirming depleted inventories over spiralling fears of a possible nuclear war, CNN reported.

Russia’s special operation to demilitarise and "de-Nazify" Ukraine, presented by the Western press as an “invasion”, despite the Kremlin repeatedly assuring that its goal is to only target military infrastructure, with no plans to occupy the neighbouring country, has fuelled a 'nuclear war' media hysteria.

Gorbachev revealed real reason behind Soviet Union's collapse was NOT fall of Berlin Wall

"the world is in colossal danger of a nuclear wipeout”—a grave warning Gorbachev issued because he knew what would follow after these godless socialist forces masterminded the sham impeachment of President Trump over Ukraine, which they used as cover to split the Ukrainian Orthodox Church away from the Russian Orthodox Church it had been part of for over 1,000-years—was an historic schism of the Orthodox Church that Russia will never allow to stand.

Russian Armed Forces Take Full Control of Kherson Region, MoD Says

The Russian special military operation to demilitarise and "de-Nazify" Ukraine has entered day 20, with defence and government officials previously saying that the op was going as scheduled.

The Russian armed forces have taken full control of the entire territory of Kherson region during the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Defence Ministry stated during a daily briefing on Tuesday.

According to the spokesperson for the ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, units of Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) troops continue offensive operations and managed to break through the defences of Ukrainian nationalists. They took control of the settlement of Panteleimonovka in Donetsk region.

Konashenkov also revealed that Russian paratroopers have seized 10 US-made Javelin anti-tank missile systems after capturing a forpost of nationalists and foreign mercenaries. Furthermore, all the foreign weapons seized by the Russian forces are being transferred to the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Militia, Konashenkov stressed.

"In total, over the past day, the aviation and air defence systems of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down 16 air targets: one Su-24 and Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, one Mi-8 helicopter and thirteen Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, including six Bayraktar TB-2", he said.

The defence ministry spokesman also announced that three hangars with four Ukrainian Su-25s and six helicopters have been destroyed at a military airport. Since the launch of the special military operation on 24 February, the Russian military has destroyed a total of 156 drones, 1306 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 127 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), 471 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 1,054 units of special military vehicles, Konashenkov stated.

Russia started a special military operation in Ukraine on 24 February in response to calls from the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics for protection against intensifying attacks by Ukrainian troops. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that the goal is to protect the people of Donbass, "who have been subjected to abuse, genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years".

The Russian Defence Ministry said the special operation is targeting Ukrainian military infrastructure only and the civilian population is not in danger. Moscow has repeatedly said it has no plans to occupy Ukraine. Western nations have imposed numerous sanctions on Russia.

Kiev reveals how many military weapons it has handed out to civilians

The Ukrainian authorities have distributed tens of thousands of assault rifles to civilians, Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky revealed in an interview on Tuesday. The decision was part of a policy aimed at turning the Ukrainian public into a resistance force against Russian troops attacking the country.

The Ukrainian government started handing out arms usually reserved for trained personnel such as soldiers and police officers in late February, days after the Russian attack began. In an interview this week, the minister said the option of receiving an assault rifle remains open to citizens.

“Any Ukrainian citizen may go to the police, prove he actually works to defend Ukraine … and get a weapon accordingly. We are talking about automatic weapons first and foremost. We have distributed several tens of thousands of assault rifles throughout the country,” Monastyrsky said.

The official added that the policy of arming the public has contributed to Ukraine’s ability to “hold back the enemy for three weeks.”

The Russian military says it has refrained from trying to capture major Ukrainian cities using full force, to avoid unnecessary casualties among civilians. Moscow claims it is only attacking military targets.

Coinciding with the decision to arm civilians, Kiev announced it would set free combat-experienced felons who agree to take up arms and fight against the Russians.

A follow-up law passed by the Ukrainian parliament last week allows Ukrainian nationals and foreign citizens to use without legal repercussions any firearms in their possession against “individuals conducting armed aggression” against the country.

Under international law, people living under conditions of war should be divided into combatants and noncombatants, with both groups enjoying various privileges under the Geneva Conventions.

Combatant members of organized militias should wear distinctive signs identifying them as such and carry their arms openly. Otherwise the protections do not apply.

Russian MoD: Key Neo-Nazi Forces in Mariupol Residential Areas Destroyed

The residents of Mariupol have been unable to leave the city despite humanitarian corridors being announced several times because of attacks carried out by radical Ukrainian nationalists.

The militia of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) with the support of Russian armed forces have eliminated practically all combat facilities occupied by neo-Nazi rebels in the residential areas of the city of Mariupol, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

According to the ministry, the successful operation aimed to stop the city's blockade has resulted in the opening of humanitarian corridors after 15:00 local time, allowing civilians to evacuate.

200 buses were deployed to Mariupol to pick up the evacuees, and 50 of the buses have already arrived in the city. Humanitarian trucks carrying 450 tonnes of medicines and food, including baby formula, were dispatched to Mariupol, and the first vehicles have already arrived.

Earlier this month, the head of the Russian National Defence Control Centre Mikhail Mizintsev said that Mariupol and several other Ukrainian cities have been facing "a humanitarian crisis of catastrophic proportions." He stressed that in Mariupol, neo-Nazis were firing at people trying to flee the city through humanitarian corridors. According to him, hundreds of thousands of people, including foreign nationals, are being held hostage.

Eyewitness Shares Horror of Azov Neo-Nazis Gunning Down Defenseless Fleeing Civilian in Mariupol

The Azov Regiment, formed in 2014 as a group of neo-Nazi volunteer paramilitaries and infamous for their 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich-style rune logo, has since been integrated into the Ukrainian National Guard and is based in Mariupol, the southeastern Ukrainian coastal city presently surrounded by Russian and Donetsk People’s Republic forces.

Ukraine’s neo-Nazi fighting force, the Azov Regiment, gunned down in cold blood a resident of Mariupol in front of other civilians attempting to flee the city, a woman who survived the terrifying ordeal, tells Sputnik.

“…We saw an old man walking…in the direction of Sartana … They killed him before our eyes… There are corpses just lying out there… strewn along the road," said the woman, a Mariupol resident who said her name was Elena.

As she shared the horror of that day, the woman described how the militants that Russia has initiated a criminal case against opened fire at the car in which she, her husband and two children were trying to leave the city.

“They started firing from both sides… Azov… We had written on our car that there were 'children inside'… attached white rags… But they opened fire…My husband fell to the floor, opened the door and shouted: “Don’t shoot, please! The children have been wounded!" continued Elena.

The woman described how the militants got out some huge weapon, she didn’t know what it was, and aimed it at the car.

“ … But I grabbed my children and led them out onto the road, screaming, 'Please don’t shoot, children!'” continued the eyewitness to the shocking incident.

She added that the militants called them over, asked where they were going, and then said, "Have you come here to die? We can just gun you and your wife down and take the children!"

As the youngsters sobbed, "Don't shoot!" the militants finally pointed the family in the direction of Sartana and told then to run for their lives. “And we went and ran," the shaken woman said.

The Azov regiment, based in Mariupol, the southeastern Ukrainian coastal city currently surrounded by Russian and Donetsk People’s Republic forces, has been indiscriminately targeting civilian areas and resorting to use of local residents as “human shields” during their retreat.

Earlier, the Russian defence ministry accused the Azov detachment of using heavy Grad artillery to strike residential areas and a school on the outskirts of Mariupol, killing multiple civilians.

Lugansk People’s Republic head Leonid Pasechnik has alsostated that retreating Ukrainian nationalist forces destroy destroying everything in their path.

“The armed formations of the Ukro-fascists, realizing the hopelessness of their resistance, in their impotent hatred are destroying everything in their path during their retreat. They open fire on residential buildings, mine the area, destroy objects of civilian infrastructure. This criminal regime has showed its true face,” Pasechnik told Russian media on Sunday.

Originally a group of neo-Nazi volunteer paramilitaries, formed in late 2014, taking part in hostilities in Donbass, Azov has since evolved into a regiment boasting over 2,500 troopers and has been integrated into the Ukrainian National Guard.

It openly flaunts the rune logo that echoes the Wolfsangel, one of the symbols used by the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich, and has a UN-documented history of crimes.

In 2016, a report by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OCHA) accused the Azov regiment of violating international humanitarian law, detailing incidents over a period from November 2015-February 2016 where Azov fighters embedded their weapons in used civilian buildings. The report also accused the battalion of raping and torturing detainees in the Donbass region.

On 24 February, Moscow began a military operation to demilitarize and de-Nazify Ukraine after weeks of escalating shelling, sabotage and sniper attacks by Ukrainian forces against the Donbass republics, whose predominantly Russian-speaking population has been subjected to “abuse, genocide… for eight years."

Established in the spring of 2014 in response to the Western-backed coup in Kiev, the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics (LPR, DPR) refused to accept the overthrow of the country’s legitimate government and its replacement by ultranationalist and pro-western forces.

Russia formally recognised the DPR and LPR ahead of its special military operation, which began in response to an official request for assistance from the authorities of the Donbass republics.

The Russian government has repeatedly stated that the goal of the current operation was to neutralise Ukraine's military capacity and not harm the civilian population of the country.

Russia sends message to foreign mercenaries in Ukraine

The military says it knows the location of all foreign fighters in Ukraine and vows to continue targeting them

Western governments encouraging their citizens to enlist in Ukraine will be responsible for their death, the Russian Ministry of Defense said Monday, vowing to continue the strikes such as the one that destroyed the Yavorov base and show no mercy to mercenaries.

“All locations of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are known to us,” Russian military spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a statement on Monday. “I want to warn you again – there will be no mercy for the mercenaries, no matter where they are on the territory of Ukraine.”

Konashenkov said a number of Western governments have encouraged their citizens to fight against Russian troops as mercenaries, adding that “all further responsibility for the death of this category of foreign citizens in Ukraine rests solely with the leadership of these countries.”

“Targeted strikes will continue,” Konashenkov said, specifically referring to Sunday’s cruise missile attack on the military bases in Yavorov and nearby Starichi in western Ukraine.

According to Moscow, the missile salvo destroyed the facilities used by the “International Legion of Ukraine” and killed “up to 180 foreign fighters.”

Kiev officials said that 35 people were killed and 130 injured in the attack on the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security, the official name of the military base near Yavorov. It had been used for years by NATO personnel to train Ukrainian troops.

While Ukrainian authorities insist that no foreign fighters were killed in the strike, several British outlets have reported that three former UK special forces operatives died at Yavorov, and “many more killed within the site than has been claimed.” This has not been officially confirmed by London. Meanwhile, Washington insisted no “US troops, contractors or civilian government workers” were present at Yavorov.

Moscow sent troops into Ukraine last month, citing seven years of failure by Kiev to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements and make peace with the breakaway regions of Donetsk and Lugansk. Russia had recognized the two Donbass republics as independent states just days earlier. Kiev has accused Moscow of an unprovoked attack.

Russian military to take measures against Ukrainian defense companies repairing weapons

The Russian Defense Ministry urged Ukrainians working in these companies and residents of nearby houses to leave potentially dangerous zones

MOSCOW, March 14. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces will take measures against Ukrainian defense sector companies used by nationalists to repair weapons in response to the strike against Donetsk, official spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry General-Major Igor Konashenkov told reporters.

Earlier today, a Tochka-U tactical missile was fired towards a residential area of the city of Donetsk from the territory controlled by the embattled nationalist-backed Kiev regime, with 20 noncombatants killed and 28 severely wounded, including children, the Ministry said.

"In response to these actions the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will take prompt measures to inactivate enterprises of the Ukrainian defense industry producing, repairing and restoring weapons used by nationalists to commit military crimes," Konashenkov said.

The Ministry urged Ukrainians working in these companies and residents of nearby houses to leave potentially dangerous zones.

Ukraine grain crops mini-bun (bun, kek)

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky frantically urged farmers to sow as many fields as possible to protect the food supply, but several of the nation’s largest agribusinesses say some plantings just won’t happen if Russia continues its war in Europe’s breadbasket—in point of fact there are two wheat crops in Ukraine, a fall planting of winter wheat, which is harvested in June, and a spring planting that begins in mid-March—to further note about the wheat that was planted last autumn, after a brief growing period it fell dormant for the winter, but before the grain returns to life farmers need to spread fertilizer that encourages the tillers to grow off the main stalks, and each stalk can have three or four tillers, increasing the yield per wheat stalk exponentially—is fertilizer Ukraine doesn’t have after Russia banned all exports—with Russia and Belarus controlling 64% of all fuel imports to Ukraine, is why all farm machinery in the country is idle today—also today sees it being reported: “Ukrainian farmers are faced with the prospect of not having enough working capital to pay for seed, fertilizer and other planting season inputs…Suppliers still doing business are requiring farmers to pay 100% of the costs up front, and that may not be possible during a war”—and for what the future holds, today it sees agricultural experts grimly noting: “To make matters worse, much of the Ukrainian infrastructure is being destroyed or shut down — everything from roads to ports — and that affects the entire circle of wheat production, from planting to export…The repercussions include a wheat and corn harvest that is expected to decrease by 35 million pounds this year in Ukraine alone…Exports of wheat from Russia and Ukraine combined are expected to drop by 60 million pounds in 2022, that means low income countries in Africa that depend on the grain will be severely impacted…And the war has damaged Ukraine’s agriculture sector to such a degree it will take two to three years to get things back to normal”
