I'm new to metals. Bought a kg of silver last week. Still learning how it all works / doesn't work. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to things financial. I know all about the paper silver scam, and understand that the price is fixed. But now there has been an announcement of shortage in physical. If more such announcements follow, I am just wondering how long it will take before there's a run on physical.

>However, I've had physical for 20 years now. Been waiting for a run since then. It's now the highest it's been since I bought first.

Where were you in 2011?

Thanks for the info/advice. I live in Seoul, SK. At link is the kind of physical available to me here. My Korean isn't particularly good in the gold/silver shop. I wanted to start with a bar or two and figure out why the coins are more expensive. Convenience?
