I take generic ambien (Zolpidem) nightly, have for years, in fact take more than just that. Never caused a problem (though everyone responds differently). I would caution you stay away from the hype. Even when you're drunk and do something stupid, you initially chose to drink. Tired of these lame ass excuses. Bad decisions, unfortunately, often come with bad consequences. Being an adult means accepting personal responsibility. If Roseanne is sincere, she should have sought medical help for the strange behaviors. G-d knows she had great medical. It's a lame ass cop-out and I don't think many are buying it. Wish she would not have gone there.

I am quite familiar (again, have taken it nightly for years). Perhaps one day there will be a scientific concensus and they will pull it from the market. The tide is turning against Purdue pharma, makers of OxyContin, as more is being learned about the problems it was causing (and the data being buried). There was a good movie about the dangers of SSRIs with Rooney Mara a few years back. She's depressed, taking the meds and basically sleepwalk-stabs to death her husband. That's the plot. On a bad computer or would sauce the title and director. Actually a decent flick.

My main point is we need to own up to our own actions though. Again, she should have asked a doctor to look into why she was feeling compelled every night at 4am to blast away on Twatter. She was lucky, she could have purchased a Lambhorghini on nothing more than a whim if this kept up. For the record, I was rooting for her success. My guess is she feels awful as it has now affected hundreds who no longer can support their families or pay bills.

We have a similar background. I too, everything but meth. Unfortunately the Benzos still play a part (awful anxiety and panic attacks - crippling really), and this one particular generic (unlike others), has really helped with my sleep problems (other brands were like sugar pills). Now getting off, should the day come, is not something I'm looking forward to. Hell on earth. Abu-Ghraib style torture withdrawal.

Agree. Not all generics are even remotely close in quality. I have to special order certain brands or they have no real effect on me, though they are supposed to meet minimal gov specifications to be sold.

>and the shit meds from india and china are not regulated at all

BINGO! We have a winner! And Wal-Mart has taken the lead buying this crap and now most others have followed suit. These drugs are crap. For example, the pain medication (opiates) they buy overseas is probably a third the potency of legit medicine. Then patients get punished for using their prescription too fast. It's a sick joke played on the pleebs. If your name is Rockefeller you don't have this problem.

Just a friendly tip. Anons would prefer you not write {You} to your reply. The recipient knows it's directed to him/her and by writing that you mess-up people's ability to quickly search old bread for their posts. The search will stop at every {u} it comes across.

Not sure I did know, thanks. Enjoyed my week-long affair on ecstasy back in the day though. Shit was pure, pure, pure and brought into town by a med student at Harvard. Open a clear capsule and the crystals shined like new fallen snow.

MDMA=Molly=ecstasy or so I thought.
