and the best information you can get is from actual first hand experience in the trenches (as you have found)
I tend to air on the side of 'more is better'
I dont want to be the one filtering important information because my pre-concieved notions automatically debunk it before its truth reveals itslef
if something truly bunk is notabled, it will eventually become clear
I always felt it was good to entertain the debate/ argument over a particular notable
quite often, the disputed nature of a notable will lead to more robust digging around the edges of the issue
even if the notable is indeed bunk, and gets removed, many times further insights are revealed
so as to say, I dont feel it a great tragedy to have a bunk notable baked into a few breads
perfection can absolutely be the enemy of the good
