Controversial child pageant star Honey Boo Boo inadvertently outed Anderson Cooper as homosexual five months before he revealed his sexuality, according to a new report.
The six-year-old, whose real name is Alana, called him a 'nice poodle' after appearing on the 45-year-old's talk show in February, reported The National Enquirer.
The outspoken youngster also used the word poodle to describe her gay Uncle Lee during an episode of Toddlers & Tiaras which screened on August 8.
Alana, who appeared on Mr Cooper's talk show Anderson with her mother June, the infamous coupon queen, apparently revealed her gay-dar's findings to June and 'other pageant mothers and kids from the Toddlers & Tiaras crowd'.
During the recent Toddlers & Tiaras episode, Alana and her Uncle Lee were filmed getting a manicure and pedicure at their local salon.
The little girl told the cameras that she calls him 'poodle' because he is a 'fruity-fruit', as June puts it, and has fruit inside of him according to Alana.
The pair, who live in McIntrye, Georgia, had appeared on the show alongside other stars from the show including Wendy Dickey and her daughter Paisley who was infamously dressed as a prostitute in an episode of the TLC reality series last year.
A source told the magazine: 'Alana's mom said her daughter loves gay men - a lot of male pageant workers are gay. And Alana's gaydar is always right on track.'
The source continued: 'I don't think Anderson know what she meant at the time, but he does now. Poodle is his new favourite word.'
Mr Cooper, who revealed that he was gay in July, is currently holidaying in Croatia after the CNN anchor's boyfriend, Ben Maisani, was caught kissing another man in a New York park on Saturday.
He is on vacation with fellow TV hosts Andy Cohen and Kelly Ripa and posted a photograph from the trip on Twitter this morning.
A source told Life & Style that the couple were already on vacation together when photos of the kiss were published exclusively by MailOnline on Sunday.
It is unclear whether Mr Maisani, 39 is still on the vacation.
Meanwhile, Honey Boo Boo and her family are embroiled in controversy of their own.
June and her father Mike Thompson have been accused of child abuse, according to a new report.
Her family was visited by the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services in March, reported The National Enquirer.
