If a cop violates someone's civil rights, (42 USC 1983) what is his/her penalty? None. The taxpayers that the cop works for might have to pay out a legal settlement years down the road.

Because medical debt isn't legally contracted with due notice and propet disclosures. Medically billing is filled with fraud, no advanced notice of fees, and signing financial responsibility forms in exchange for lifesaving treatment is the definition of duress.

 

Medical debt is bullshit and people shouldn't lose their house or their ability to rent because of it.
