NC anon here. McCrory was actually a decent Governor. Maybe his appointee did support some CRT nonsense but that doesn’t mean he knew that would be the case prior to appointing whoever it was. Look how some of Trump’s appointments turned out. It’s hard when you’re the head honcho to make sure all of the people you surround yourself with are people of integrity and with good values. McCrory was very much against the wholesale trans bathroom nonsense and some idiots in Charlotte used the classic dem playbook, with a very cooperative and compromised NC media, to villainize McCrory much the same as the national MSM did with Trump. They didn’t just do it with the trans bathroom issue either. They did it with anything and everything. McCrory would certainly be a tremendous upgrade compared with our current anti Trump RINO Senators Burr and Tillis.
McCrory balanced NC’s budget and governed NC very conservatively. The media in NC did everything they could to get him out of office and it worked, just like with President Trump. He certainly wasn’t targeted so heavily for being a RINO. He was actually producing good results and had to go. Now we’re stuck with that idiot Roy Cooper (thanks dumb ass yankee NC transplants in Wake, Durham, Cumberland, Guilford, and Mecklenburg Counties). BTW, McCrory would be a great upgrade in comparison to our current RINO Senators Burr and Tillis.
