Not all children are the same. I would think that Asian don't talk to their child as if they were a dog, but treat them as if they're intelligent. Being a parent is a life lesson, most parents fall in love with the first born, they get the benefit of a learning parent, that first child passes that along to their siblings because the newness of a child wanes.
It is more likely that you're looking for a comeback, but you are a child and have completely lost track of what it is to be humble.
