Sovereign ‘Democracy’ Ukraine: Zelenskyy Suspends 11 Opposition Parties Becoming Head Of A One-Party State

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the backing of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, declared that all opposition parties would be suspended indefinitely until martial law is declared over.

With millions of their constituents now stripped of any political infrastructure, it’s safe to say that this is not the sort of action taken by a ‘democracy.

In a statement issued yesterday evening, President Zelenskyy announced the following decree: political parties who his party, “Servants of the People,” has identified as being pro-Russian would be suspended until the nation-wide martial law is lifted. The list essentially includes every opposition party.

Nor is it liberal. Sorry, Frum.

Among the suspended parties is the “Opposition Platform—For Life (OPFL),” Ukraine’s second-largest party in parliament. OPFL has been a stalwart defender of Ukraine’s sovereignty ever since the Russian invasion began. At the very start of the invasion, on February 24, OPFL expelled a member of their party for expressing support of the invasion. When martial law was declared and approved by parliament, not a single member of OPFL voted against the measure. Days later, OPFL supported a measure criminalizing collaboration with Russia. On March 7, they issued a statement calling for a ceasefire and complete withdrawal of all Russian troops.

To put this in perspective, OPFL has 43 seats in Ukraine’s parliament. They represent millions of citizens and are particularly favored in eastern Ukraine.

If a similar action were to happen in the United States, it would be as though Biden stripped Republicans of all political influence.

The following political parties were suspended: Opposition Platform—For Life, Shariy Party, Nashi, Opposition Bloc, Left Opposition, Union of Left Forces, State, Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialists, and Volodymyr Saldo Bloc.

US Senate Candidate Mike Durant: ‘Hard Not to’ Vote for McConnell as Leader

Just what we don’t need. Another wobbly RINO in the US Senate.

John McCain-protégé Mike Durant, who is running for US Senate from Alabama, is refusing to join President Donald Trump in calling for Mitch McConnell’s ouster as Republican Senate leader.

Asked at a recent local Republican Party meeting in Alabama whether he would vote for McConnell to serve as leader, Durant responded, “Well, he’s run unopposed since 2008.”

“No one is running against him,” Durant added. “So, if no one’s running against him, it’s pretty hard not to.”

Durant’s campaign has strong ties to McConnell. Durant’s spokesperson, a consultant in Washington, D.C. named Jahan Wilcox, lists McConnell as a former employer on his website. Wilcox previously tweeted that he was “#NeverTrump” and called Trump a “clown show.”

The Gateway Pundit previously outlined Durant’s backing from Never Trump and liberal political forces under the moniker “More Perfect Union.”

Fox Business reported that the super PAC supporting Durant’s candidacy is being funded by donors of McConnell, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Mitt Romney. The outlet also reported that More Perfect Union recruited Durant into the race and set up his campaign team before cutting off communications to form the super PAC.

Globalist Agency Calls for Energy Lockdowns including Banning Cars on Sundays to Achieve Climate Goals

The globalist International Energy Agency (IEA) is calling for energy lockdowns as the price of gas and oil skyrockets.

Months after the destructive and deadly COVID lockdowns the IEA is calling for new lockdowns on the general public such as banning cars on Sunday and only allowing certain license registered vehicles on the road on certain days.

The globalist rules would once again decimate the third world nations where people don’t have the luxury of working from home or taking weekends off.

But the globalists don’t care. It’s for the greater good.

As gasoline prices rise to record levels, the International Energy Agency is calling for energy lockdowns, such as banning the use of private cars in cities on Sundays.

Other measures proposed in the agency’s “A 10-Point Plan to Cut Oil Use” include reducing speed limits, working from home, cutting business air travel and imposing an SUV “tax,” reports Climate Depot, the website run by former Capitol Hill staffer Marc Morano.

“Governments have all the necessary tools at their disposal to put oil demand into decline in the coming years, which would support efforts to both strengthen energy security and achieve vital climate goals,” the report states.

Among the proposals: “Reducing highway speed limits by about 6 miles per hour; more working from home; street changes to encourage walking and cycling; car-free Sundays in cities and restrictions on other days; cutting transit fares; policies that encourage more carpooling; cutting business air travel.”

Ukraine’s neighbor begins deployment of NATO’s air defense system

The US-made Patriot system won’t be a replacement for the Russian S-300, Slovakia’s defense minister has said

Components of NATO’s Patriot air defense system started arriving in Slovakia on Sunday, and their deployment is set to continue in the coming days, Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad has said.

The US-made system is being shipped to the country as part of NATO’s efforts to boost the defenses of its Eastern European member state in response to Russia’s ongoing military operation in Ukraine. Slovakia, which is part of both NATO and the EU, has a population of 5.5 million and shares a 100km-long (62-mile-long) border with Ukraine.

“The system will be temporarily deployed at the Sliac air force base. Further deployment areas are being considered … so the security umbrella covers the largest-possible part of Slovak territory,” Nad wrote in a Facebook post.

The Patriot system was provided to Bratislava by fellow NATO members Germany and the Netherlands, and will be serviced by the troops from those countries. The bloc’s battle group in Slovakia is expected to number 2,100.

The minister said the Patriot would not replace Slovakia’s Soviet-era S-300, but rather serve as an additional element of the country’s air defenses. However, he reiterated Bratislava’s willingness to deploy another system because of the S-300’s “age, technical condition, [and] insufficient capabilities” and because the Ukrainian conflict has made military cooperation with Russia “unacceptable.”

Six killed as car drives into carnival crowd in Belgium

The incident, which occurred early on Sunday morning in the Wallonia region, left more than 30 people injured, ten seriously

A car plowed at high speed through a crowd attending a carnival in Belgium’s Wallonia region early on Sunday morning, killing several people, including a child, and injuring dozens more.

The incident happened at around 5am in the town of Strépy-Bracquegnies, 50km north of Brussels. It left six dead and 37 others injured, ten of them seriously, according to Belgium’s Interior Ministry.

“There are no words. It’s horrific… to see these bodies scattered on the road, the people who are in pain,” Mayor Jacques Gobert, who presides over the neighboring town of La Louvière, said.

The driver of the car – who attempted to escape but was intercepted – has reportedly been detained, and the circumstances of what the mayor described as a “catastrophe” are currently being established.

First responders remain at the scene and the town has triggered its emergency plan. Local media reports suggest the car, which smashed into the revelers at high speed, was fleeing from a police chase.

Count 3: Conspiracy to transport a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity – maximum sentence of five years

Count 4: Transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity – maximum sentence of 10 years

Count 5: Conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors – maximum sentence of five years

Count 6: Sex trafficking of minors – maximum sentence of 40 years

US District Judge Alison J. Nathan has stated that Maxwell will be sentenced on June 28 and we’ve heard nothing else since.

Despite the high profile nature of Maxwell’s conviction and the deep desire by those paying attention to see her customers held accountable, coverage of her situation in the mainstream media became non-existent. Instead, the talking heads went back to bashing their boogeymen to stoke divide. All the while, no one in the legacy media is asking the tough questions like “who the hell were her customers and why aren’t we going after them”?

While Ukraine coverage is certainly warranted, looming world war serves as a convenient distraction for the perpetrators of these crimes and the interest in exposing those who committed them.

While a US court has since ruled that the sex assault case against Prince Andrew can proceed, no other clients have been brought to light. The fact that many politicians who could be marching us to war right now, may be these clients, it of great concern to many.
