English is the language of commerce.
Anyone who is not native speaking English knows that if they want to make money, they should learn English.
That is why many foreign countries require several years of English for their students.
But here in the US, learning English is not so much required. We cater to every other language that is spoken by immigrants who come here. Which speaks volumes to the US education system keeping people dumb and dependent on the government.
