So important for anons to source own meat. Try to find local. Grass fed till end is best, grass fed and grain finished is next, grain always is next best.. organic if possible but even if not, loads better than the cheap meat tubes you buy in the grocery store.

McD, etc are the worst. Factory farms, sick cattle, etc.

Bonus of buying local from a farmer is they should let you tour their facilities, if they have nothing to hide. Saying no, even due to “covid” is a red flag. Politely refuse then and go elsewhere.

Then you can buy a side, or half a side (a quarter) and tell them how you want it processed. We got a mix of roasts, steaks and ground for the rest.. they take normally unused parts then and grind it together. You can also take the heart, kidneys, liver, tongue (we did for our friends who have dogs). Nothing is wasted. You get to see your animal and know it was kindly raised and killed and your dollars stay local. There’s something to be said about eating locally. I think we are healthier for it.
