The clock is probably the most successful slide here besides "bewbs for baker" and the biblefags. Nobody actually buys into any of the race slides (especially the "muh joo" stuff), and everything else is just so easy to pick out. The biblefaggotry puts a bad taste in folks mouths seeing all the contradictory points made, which is actually a good thing, and the bewbs do "boost morale" (useful excuse, but still; I mean c'mon…). So you could make an argument for them sort of not being slides (but they are) considering the nature of the board.
The clock's allure is like a modern version of horoscope posting. It's not predictive at all, but it plays into cognitive bias, and arguments could be made for it's use looking back. But all you'd need to do is figure out a way to "make it fit" to craft a narrative of your choice, and there ya have it. However, anons have pointed out that there have appeared to be circumstances where the plan hit some contingencies along the way. That'd mean that some events had to be "readjusted" just to fit a clock's post-analysis usefulness. If that's the case that'd make for some angry anons. The only thing clockfags have to go on, then, is a single post that no one else has successfully decoded otherwise (wind with markers), so it persists.
Then again, there's been a lot of "gotchas" along the way in this thing. There's a distinct possibility that clockfags could be on to something that ends up being the biggest "AH HA!" moment in all of this. But there's never been a single explanation of "how it works" that makes any sense, whatsoever, logically. Never. Not a single one.
