Had an interesting exchange with anon a while ago about things like ESP and telepathy. Was talking about a study showing how our brain uses a large array of neurons to store memories rather than some sort of linear code like computers do.

This got me thinking how our memories (and all perceptions) may come from a range of sources, perhaps even some external to the brain. Certainly it is well understood that memories can be triggered by external stimuli. That's when it hit me that there is actually one situation where humans freely exchange genetic material amongst those around them.
