Never ask anything, of anyone, that you yourself would not be willing to do. Anything less than this makes you a coward. I would never gamble another person's life, much less a child's, unless I would be willing to take that hit myself. Because once you sink to their level "one life, for many", you are just as guilty and deserve the same fate as those that should commit that act itself.
