Exactly, that's how I interpret it. He is the Son of God because the is the only Father he knew. He followed God is His Words, which Jesus Followed, so the Holy Spirit was with Jesus and therefore was God. Jesus was just the first to do it somehow because he was able to defeat Satan. Jesus broke the Game. It is very rare to grow up with a single mom and not end up a psycho. I kind of understand because I grew up with a single mom too so I interpret the story through my own unique lens.

Well, a son catching or hearing his mother with strange men throughout his childhood will twist and warp his soul to places you cannot imagine. Escaping that and making it out with some sort of sanity and rational thought is a miracle.
