These meters will tell the electric company or anyone else monitoring them when you're home and when you are not. Usage analysis and what type of appliances are in use will reveal things about your movements. Vacations or long periods of absence might be noted by electric company. Intense usage on particular days might reveal your families partying or small business usage in a residence. This information could and would be used by anyone conducting a full investigation of your family or you. This would be just one component of the full package.
