Anon is concerned about the status of the great awakening. Thought the masses had seen enough to become instantly skeptical of media narratives. Assumed the normies would be doubtful of whenever the left, the entertainment machine, social media tech and DC establishment all simultaneously coalesce around simplistic “cause du jour”. Certainly thought that after being blatantly lied to on COVID, at the very least Trump’s base would be using extreme discernment by now.
The cold reality is that the gaslighting on “Russia bad, thus Ukraine good” appears to be working. Rank and file conservatives seem to be lining up with the narrative, or at least not questioning it. True, most don’t want us going to war, but blind support for all things Ukraine seems to have taken hold across all spectrums of thought (anon world and a few lonely voices being the exception). Anon would have expected a resounding chorus of “THIS IS BULLSHIT” to be habbening now. Sadly, it’s not.
