US Reportedly Agrees To Home 100,000 Ukrainian Refugees

A week after it was reported that several major Polish cities had reached "capacity", President Biden, who is holding emergency talks with NATO leaders in Brussels, is expected to announce plans for the United States to take in 100,000 Ukrainian refugees and others fleeing Russia’s invasion.

The move comes as more than 10 million people in Ukraine have been forced from their homes and more than 3.4 million have fled the country, including 2 million who arrived in Poland.

Bloomberg reports, citing a senior Biden administration official, that some of those allowed into the country will come as refugees, but the U.S. will also permit others to seek parole status or immigrant on non-immigrant visas.

Interestingly, following our report on Ukrainian border officials refusing to allow transgender women to leave the country, Bloomberg reports that the official said the U.S. is committed to protecting LGBTQ people and those with medical needs that have been disrupted by war.

Bear in mind that this virtuous act of asylum-provision could be abused. As we recently noted, according to an investigation by newspaper Le Figaro, around a third of Ukrainian refugees arriving in France are actually economic migrants from other areas of the world, mostly North Africa and the Middle East.

BlackRock's Fink Says Ukraine Invasion "Accelerates" ESG and Digital Currencies Shift

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink's annual letter to shareholders has become heavily scrutinized as ones from Berkshire Hathaway chief Warren Buffett and JP Morgan chief Jamie Dimon. Fink is the boss of a $10 trillion asset manager, the world's largest and oversees more money than the Fed, told shareholders Russia's invasion of Ukraine would fundamentally reshape the world economy and drive up inflation as supply chains are reconfigured.

"The Russian invasion of Ukraine has put an end to the globalization we have experienced over the last three decades," Fink wrote.

Fink predicted "companies and governments will also be looking more broadly at their dependencies on other nations. This may lead companies to onshore or nearshore more of their operations resulting in a faster pull back from some countries."

As a result, "a large-scale reorientation of supply chains will inherently be inflationary," he said, pointing out that even before the conflict broke out in Eastern Europe, the economic effects of the virus pandemic brought US inflation to its highest in four decades.

Today's inflationary environment, teetering on the verge of stagflation, has put central banks in "difficult decisions about how fast to raise rates. They face a dilemma they haven't faced in decades, which has been worsened by geopolitical conflict and the resulting energy shocks. Central banks must choose whether to live with higher inflation or slow economic activity and employment to lower inflation quickly," Fink said.

Like Fink's last letter to shareholders, he was focused on the firm's "ESG" and "green technology" commitments. This time around, he said the invasion "will actually accelerate the shift toward greener sources of energy in many parts of the world," because higher fossil fuel prices will make the transition of renewables financially competitive.

"We've already seen European policymakers promoting investment in renewables as an important component of energy security," he said. "More than ever, countries that don't have their own energy sources will need to fund and develop them– which for many will mean investing in wind and solar power."

NATO calls out China over its stance on Ukraine

The military alliance has urged Beijing not to assist Moscow in its offensive against Kiev

The heads of state and government of the 30 nations comprising NATO have called on China to “abstain from supporting Russia’s war effort” in Ukraine. The military alliance also advised Beijing against trying to help Moscow circumvent Western sanctions.

Following an Extraordinary NATO Summit in Brussels on Thursday, which was devoted to Russia’s military offensive against Ukraine, the alliance issued a statement, which, on top of sharp criticism of Moscow, contained warnings to Beijing as well.

“We call on all states, including the People’s Republic of China (PRC),” the document reads, “to abstain from supporting Russia’s war effort in any way, and to refrain from any action that helps Russia circumvent sanctions.” NATO’s statement goes on to express concern over “recent public comments by PRC officials,” urging “China to cease amplifying the Kremlin’s false narratives, in particular on the war and on NATO.”

The Kremlin’s military campaign in Ukraine poses the “gravest threat to Euro-Atlantic security in decades,” NATO leaders argued. The statement calls on President Vladimir Putin to “immediately stop this war and withdraw military forces from Ukraine,” as well as “to allow rapid, safe, and unhindered humanitarian access and safe passage for civilians.”

An FBI Field Office Planned a Party in Honor of Ketanji Brown Jackson

The party was scrapped after FBI superiors deemed it inappropriate

An FBI field office planned a party in honor of Ketanji Brown Jackson shortly after her nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, leaked emails show. The story was initially reported by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Washington Free Beacon received an internally circulated email from the FBI’s Los Angeles Women’s and Black Affairs Committees, dated March 11, that advertised a “save the date” for an interview with the agency’s assistant director in charge for the L.A. field office and a “nomination party” for Jackson on March 23. The event was first reported on Tuesday by Tucker Carlson.

“Join us: A dynamic interview, socialization, and lots of celebrating with desserts!” reads a leaked invitation to the event. A day later, the party was scrapped, which was confirmed in an email from the office’s diversity and inclusion department. FBI superiors concluded that the party would be in violation of the bureau’s commitment to nonpartisanship.

IRS Investigators Find Nearly $2 Billion in COVID-19 Stimulus-Related Fraud

Agents of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) investigated 660 cases of alleged fraud connected to COVID-19 stimulus funds and found more than $1.8 billion over the past two years, according to investigational data made public on Wednesday.

“These cases included a broad range of criminal activity, including fraudulently obtained loans, credits and payments meant for American workers, families, and small businesses,” the IRS Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) division said in a statement.

The statutory body noted that it had a 100 percent conviction rate for prosecuted cases, with prison sentences averaging 42 months.

Nearly two years ago, President Donald Trump signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act meant to fuel the fight against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic and sustain the hard-hit economy.

The approximately $2.2 trillion stimulus package included $500 billion in loans to industries, $100 billion for hospitals, $58 billion in aid to airlines, $150 billion for states and local governments, and $45 billion for disaster relief.

“Unfortunately, even during times of crisis, criminals pop their heads out to look for ways to take advantage of those in their most vulnerable state,” IRS-CI Chief Jim Lee said. “Thanks to the investigative work of IRS-CI special agents and our law enforcement partners, we’ve ensured criminals who try to defraud CARES Act programs face consequences for their actions.”

One case highlighted by the agency involved a California family who used stolen identities to submit fraudulent small business loan applications in a scheme that defrauded the government of millions of dollars.

Another case presented by the IRS involved two Florida residents who were sentenced to prison for wire fraud after they submitted false documentation about their companies to fraudulently secure loans from the CARES Act.

Meanwhile, the IRS-CI said the department’s lack of funding has damaged the ability of law enforcement investigators to effectively do their work, noting the workforce of the investigations unit has shrunk by 25 percent over the course of the last decade, a U.S. Treasury Department official told The Associated Press.

“The IRS criminal investigators are some of the best financial investigators in the world. It’s important they are at full strength,” said Danny Glaser, a former Treasury assistant secretary for terrorist financing and financial crimes.

The Biden Admin’s Ties To Ukraine Go Deeper Than Hunter And Burisma

A senior Biden administration official handling global energy policy recently held a high-level position at a Ukrainian state-run natural gas firm but resigned citing corruption.

Amos Hochstein, who President Joe Biden appointed to be the State Department’s top adviser for energy security over the summer of 2021, was a member of the energy company Naftogaz’s supervisory board. Hochstein took the position in 2017 after he said government officials persuaded him to accept the offer.

“When fears abounded in late 2017 that Ukraine’s efforts to dismantle corruption were weakening, U.S. and foreign officials encouraged me to accept the (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s) request, and join the Naftogaz board to reinforce, and help protect, the progress that CEO Andriy Kobolyev and his team had made, and continue with additional critical reforms,” Hochstein wrote in an editorial published by the Kyiv Post in October 2020.

Since 2014, the U.S. has led an effort to reduce corruption in Ukraine’s government from within, he wrote. His role at Naftogaz was a part of this effort, Hochstein said.

But Hochstein eventually resigned from the board in 2020, writing in the Kyiv Post editorial that the attempt to fight corruption at the state-run energy giant “was resisted at every step of the way.”

“I can no longer stand by and be used to endorse this negative trend, and it’s why I must voluntarily leave the board,” he wrote. “I do so with regret but also with pride for what has been accomplished.”

Ukrainians Getting Help Settling in the U.S. from 2,000 Activist Lawyers

The Russian invasion in Ukraine has rallied people to support fleeing Ukrainian people, including U.S.-based lawyers who are part of a leftist organization that calls for racial and climate “justice.”

In this case, some 2,000 members of Lawyers for Good Government who are helping Ukrainians get legal status and work permits.

President Joe Biden has already announced Ukrainians would be able to apply for Temporary Protected Status, which allows migrants to live and work legally in the United States.

And now L4GG and the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis have signed up to assist them.

Reuters reported on the development:

The administration estimates 75,000 Ukrainians will be eligible for the program. While they can apply on their own, a lawyer can help them navigate the process and advise on other immigration relief that may be available, said Jacqueline Haberfeld, Kirkland’s pro bono counsel and a coordinator of the Ukraine effort. The number of volunteers was swelling on Tuesday, growing to 1,958 by the afternoon, said Traci Feit Love, founder, president and executive director of Lawyers for Good Government. So far the attorneys come from 76 law firms and 38 companies, she said.

Haberfeld and Love said they have worked together for years on other projects and were thinking of ideas relating to TPS legal assistance for Ukrainians when Haberfeld called Love.

“We’re used to running these projects in this way,” Love said. “We have an idea, one of us gives the other a call.” The report cintinued:

Love said the project will be ready to go live within a “few business days,” but is waiting for the Biden administration to take a formal step to grant Ukrainians TPS relief for 18 months. A spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the TPS program, did not respond to a request for comment on the timeline.

“If you have questions about the questions, you’re going to need a lawyer,” Haberfeld said.

Russia-Allied Belarus Grants Jan 6th Protestor Asylum Citing ‘Political Persecution’

Evan Neumann, who is wanted on a number of charges in relation to the January 6th 2021 protests, has been granted asylum in Belarus after alleging “political persecution” in the U.S.

California man Evan Neumann has officially been granted asylum in Belarus over allegations he was being politically persecuted in the United States.

Neumann is wanted on a number of criminal charges in the U.S., having been accused of assaulting a police officer during the now-infamous January 6th protests which occurred in Washington DC in 2021.

According to a report by British state-owned broadcaster the BBC, Neumann’s asylum claim has been accepted by Belarus, the country having officially granted the 48-year old asylum status.

“Now you are completely under the protection of the Republic of Belarus,” Neumann was reportedly told by one of the country’s immigration officials in an event filmed by Belarusian state broadcaster Belta.

“I am glad Belarus took care of me. I am upset to find myself in a situation where I have problems in my own country,” the Californian is reported as telling the Belarusian broadcaster regarding his “mixed feelings” on his accepted asylum application.

Neumann has previously spoken out on the charges levied against him by U.S. authorities, saying that he is a victim of “political persecution”.

“It’s terrible,” he said back in November. “It is a political persecution, not a criminal investigation, but political persecution.”

“I do not consider myself having inflicted any harm,” he continued. “One of the charges was particularly insulting, namely that I hit a police officer. This has no grounds at all.”

A close ally of Russia, Belarus was at odds with the West long before the resumption of active hostilities in Ukraine.

Led by Alexander Lukashenko, the country has been accused of engaging in “hybrid warfare” against the European Union by orchestrating a migrant crisis at the Polish border.

Since the escalations of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, Belarus has been further accused of routing Middle Eastern migrants through the war-torn country — which Lukashenko is currently helping Russia invade — and into the West.

Some reports go so far as to suggest that some migrants have been forced at gunpoint out of Belarusian territory and into that of Poland and Ukraine.

However, despite these accusations, Lukashenko has always been flippant about his government’s actions, saying he wouldn’t even bother to investigate whether or not his forces were aiding illegal immigration to the EU.

“Our guys are helping the migrants get into Polish territory?” the Belarusian previously said in response to one question on the topic. “It’s perfectly possible, I think that’s absolutely possible. Maybe someone helped them.”

“I won’t even look into this,” he said.

“I told the EU I’m not going to detain migrants on the border, hold them at the border, and if they keep coming from now on I still won’t stop them, because they’re not coming to my country, they’re going to yours.”

Grooming Gang Whistleblower Claims Police Said She Was ‘Being Racist’ and ‘Rocking the Multicultural Boat’

A child sexual abuse whistleblower has claimed that she faced repeated efforts from the police to discourage her from reporting grooming gang activity in Rotherham.

Jayne Senior MBE, who ran the Risky Business youth project between 1999 and 2011, was a key witness in exposing the predominantly-Pakistani grooming gang crisis across the North of England, claims to have faced opposition from the police who allegedly attempted to dissuade her from passing on key evidence.

The whistleblower – who has made complaints against more than 30 officers – claimed at a police misconduct hearing in Sheffield that she was told in one meeting with police officers that she “was being racist”, “was going against perpetrators’ human rights”, and was “rocking the multicultural boat”, the BBC reports.

Senior also accused ex-Detective Sergeant David Walker of the South Yorkshire Police – who was the officer in question at the misconduct hearing – of ignoring and failing to record her concerns including that two teenage sisters (13 and 15 years old) were having sex with car wash workers.

Walker is reported to have replied to the information about the two sisters with, “this appears to be a matter for social services. Please liaise and finalise”, rather than investigate the crime himself. Walker denies all allegations of misconduct.

Senior suggested she had to do the police’s work for them saying that the information she gave “was a jigsaw. We may have one bit of information and another organisation might have another or another. We put that jigsaw together, as we did on a number of occasions”.

The former youth worker was awarded an MBE in 2016 for her services to child protection in Rotherham.

Wut? Far-Left Deputy Labour Leader Says Russia Has Already Used Nukes in Britain

Labour’s Deputy Leader Angela Rayner has accused Russia of previously carrying out a nuclear attack in Britain.

In an effort to defend former hard-left leader Jeremy Corbyn’s apathy over the 2018 Salisbury Novichok incident — where Corbyn attempted to divert blame away from Moscow for poisonings attributed to Russian operatives by suggesting the government’s response should be “proportionate and based on clear evidence” — Rayner added to a growing collection of public blunders.

“This was about… if the Russian state had done that, which we were looking at facts at the time, we didn’t know that at the time. When we did find out about that, it was an absolute disgrace that President Putin thought he could come on UK soil and use weapons, nuclear weapons, in that way,” Rayner said, apparently mistaking the nerve agent for a nuclear bomb.

“It’s despicable that any nation thought they could come on foreign soil and use those types of weapons and it needed a strong, robust response,” Rayner continued, failing to correct herself.

As of the time of writing Rayner had still not corrected herself or clarified her position, despite facing widespread ridicule from members of the public on Twitter.

The Novichok poisonings took place near Salisbury Cathedral and are believed to have been a Moscow-sponsored assassination attempt on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal. He and his daughter Julia were both hospitalised as a result, along with a police officer.

While the trio survived, an unassociated member of the public, Dawn Sturgess, tragically died as a result of being exposed to the nerve agent later on.

During the interview with LBC Rayner also attempted to insist that Corbyn — who is stridently anti-war — would have supplied Ukraine with missiles as the Conservative government has done after being asked about a comment from Prime Minister Boris Johnson suggesting that a Corbyn-led Labour government would have been “running up the white flag” and caving in to “Putin’s blackmail”.

Rayner also received political flak on the 16th of March from Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab, who highlighted Labour’s deputy leader having previously referred to Corbyn as a “very strong leader”.

“Can I just gently say to her that when she was campaigning as the rest of them were to make the member for Islington North [Corbyn] Prime Minister, this Prime Minister [Johnson] was Foreign Secretary, leading the response to the nerve agent attack on Salisbury”, Raab asserted.

“The suggestion she’s making is sheer nonsense. But if she wants to talk about national security then I remind her that she and her Shadow Cabinet colleagues not so long ago wanted the honourable member for Islington North… a man who wanted and talked about abolishing the Army, pulling out of Trident — she voted for that,” he continued.

“Has there ever been a more ridiculous, reckless, naive moment to call for unilateral nuclear disarmament and pulling out of NATO? A Labour government would put at risk our security. We’re doing everything we can to protect it.”

Corbyn has been suspended from the socialist Labour Party he used to lead by his successor, Sir Keir Starmer — who formerly served in Corbyn’s Shadow Cabinet — for saying that the scale of anti-Semitism within the leftist party had been “dramatically overstated for political reasons”.

Most U.S. counties lost population last year as deaths outnumbered births, data shows

Almost three-quarters of all U.S. counties reported more deaths than births last year, a development largely caused by the pandemic, which contributed to a dramatic slowing in the nation’s overall population growth, according to data released Thursday by the Census Bureau.

Low fertility rates, which have persisted since the end of the Great Recession, and the nation’s continuing demographic shift toward an older population also combined to create the smallest population increase in 100 years, said Kenneth M. Johnson, a sociology professor and demographer at the University of New Hampshire. He said he expected the data to show a natural decrease but was surprised at its scale. Natural decrease occurs when a population records more deaths than births.

“I think one of the most important findings is the fact that almost 2,300 counties had more deaths than births in them. That’s unheard of in American history,” Johnson said.

He said the coronavirus’s impact, along with longer-term trends that limited population growth, had created “a perfect storm,” and that one would have to go back at least to the 1918 flu pandemic to find anything like it.

The data also offered statistical backing to widespread anecdotal evidence suggesting that millions of Americans moved out of the nation’s largest cities, including the District, during the pandemic. Whether for safety from infectious disease or convenience during shutdowns, millions traded cities for suburbs or larger suburbs for smaller ones. Many migrated farther into rural counties or resettled to second homes in vacation areas, such as the Catskill Mountains or the Delmarva Peninsula.

Two of the nation’s largest cities, Los Angeles and New York City, suffered the sharpest losses as a result of internal migration. Los Angeles County lost 179,757 people in net domestic migration, while New York County lost 113,642.

California, Oregon and Mississippi had the most counties negatively affected by international migration losses, while Alaska, Louisiana and Illinois had the most counties affected by losses caused by domestic migration within the United States.

Of course, the outflows from some states meant gains in others. Arizona’s Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix, received the most people (46,866) from other areas of the United States.

“I’m very surprised by this because I didn’t think it was going to be as dramatic, the domestic migration piece of it,” said William H. Frey, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, who analyzed the data and its impact on the Washington region. “It may be a blip, and I think it is, but it’s certainly noteworthy. I think that’s the bigger demographic pattern here.”

Frey said that although outward domestic migration from these and other major cities had been underway for many years, its effect had been masked by increases in foreign immigrants, but those numbers also slowed during the pandemic.

The data released Thursday covered 3,143 counties, along with 384 metropolitan statistical areas and 543 smaller locales known as micropolitan statistical areas. The period covered by the data — July 2020 to July 2021 — also coincided with some of the peak rates of the coronavirus′s spread, as reflected in reported cases.

In that time, more than 73 percent of all U.S. counties experienced a natural population decrease, compared with 55 percent of all counties in 2020 and 45 percent in 2019, the Census Bureau found. In four states — Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island — the natural population decrease occurred in every county.

Black population grows in U.S. suburbs, shrinks in cities, Census Bureau finds

The nation’s capital recorded a loss of 20,043 people, driven mostly by domestic migration, while its metropolitan area lost more than 29,000 people, Frey said. Montgomery County experienced a loss of 6,416 people, Prince George’s County reported a decline of 10,295, and Fairfax County’s population declined by 8,752. Prince William County added 1,734 people, Frey found.

He also noted the huge turnaround in immigration, tracing a peak influx of more than 47,000 reported in July 2015 to only 12,600 last year.

U.S. Navy Commander Stands Up For His Right Not To Be “Jabbed”. Military Is Being Decimated By The “Jab”!

People refusing the “jab” should do it on the claim of self-defense instead of religious objection!

Military flight surgeons testify in federal court:

An Army flight surgeon testified in federal court that she was ordered by high-level command not to discuss the controversy over Department of Defense data indicating a massive spike in serious injuries and illnesses among military personnel when the vaccines were rolled out in 2021.

Dr. Theresa Long was testifying March 10 in the case of a Navy SEAL commander who refused to receive a COVID shot. She told Judge Steven Merryday of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa that she was observing cases of the demyelination of the central nervous system in military personnel.

As WND reported, three Department of Defense whistleblowers have presented evidence from the Defense Military Epidemiological Database (DMED) that show a nearly 1,000% increase overall in diseases and injuries in 2021 compared to the previous five years.

Long, a senior flight surgeon at the U.S. Army Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama, testified along with two other military flight surgeons, Lt. Col. Peter Chambers and Col. (Ret.) Stewart Tankersley.

The non-profit Liberty Counsel, representing the commander, obtained a temporary restraining order from Judge Merryday blocking the Navy from punishing the commander because of his vaccination status. The commander asked for an exemption on religious conscience grounds, and Merryday ruled the Navy appears to be in conflict with the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

The government was in court asking the judge to set aside the injunction while the case is on appeal.

Asked about the data in the Defense Military Epidemiological Database, Long said she had been “ordered not to answer that question.”

“Ordered by who?” Merryday asked.

Long replied that the order came from high-level command.

Attorney Matt Staver of Liberty Counsel, representing the Navy commander, followed up, asking Long why the data is relevant to the case.

“I have so many soldiers being destroyed by this vaccine. Not a single member of my senior command has discussed my concerns with me,” she said amid tears.

“I have nothing to gain and everything to lose by talking about it,” Long said.

She added that she is willing to lose her career “because I am watching people get absolutely destroyed.”

She said she regularly has been contacted by military personnel who have been injured by the shots, and most are pilots, who “have to meet one of the highest fitness standards.”

Jewish businessman paid for Nazi graffiti in Ukraine before Russia invaded – report

Ukrainian oligarch Pavel Fuks, accused of paying locals to daub swastikas in Kahriv and Kyiv, quoted saying ‘he had no choice’ after Russian agents approached him

An oligarch with Russian ties reportedly paid Ukrainian locals to spray-paint swastikas around the city of Kharkiv in the months leading up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In a report Wednesday, Rolling Stone cited multiple sources that identify the oligarch behind the alleged plot as Pavel Fuks, a Jewish-Ukrainian businessman who has accumulated most of his wealth from ventures in Russia.

Fuks, who reportedly held Russian citizenship in the past, was allegedly approached by Russian agents and persuaded to pay local criminals anywhere between $500 and $1,500 through intermediaries to vandalize the streets of Kharkiv with Nazi symbols.

According to the report, this lasted for three months, between December and February, and up until Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24.

The report cited several Ukrainians, including former top kickboxer Oleg Plyush, who said Fuks had employed intermediaries in order to track down people who would be willing to carry out the antisemitic acts of vandalism.

NATO not to deploy troops in Ukraine in order to avoid war with Russia — Secretary General

Jens Stoltenberg stressed that the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine would result in a direct military clash with Russia

NATO will not send forces to Ukraine, because it would lead to a full-scale conflict with Russia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference Thursday.

"At the same time, we have a responsibility to ensure that the conflict [in Ukraine] does not become a full-fledged war between NATO and Russia," Stoltenberg said, answering a question about Poland’s proposal to send a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine. "We will not deploy troops on the ground in Ukraine, because the only way to do that is to be prepared to engaged in a full conflict with Russian troops".

NATO should not also allow an even greater escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and a clash with Russia, which will lead to the deployment of alliance troops on Ukrainian territory, NATO Secretary General said.

"We are determined to do all we can to support Ukraine, and I welcome the concrete offers of assistance made by allies today. At the same time, we have a responsibility to ensure the conflict does not escalate further, because this would be even more dangerous and more devastating," Stoltenberg said, stressing that the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine would result in a direct military clash with Russia.

==Uranium, oil and technology: How Russia got stronger as Bidens and Clintons got richer

In the years before Moscow invaded Ukraine,==

Democrats enriched themselves politically and personally from oligarchs and businesses in the region while empowering Vladimir Putin with energy and technology deals.

In the early days of Russia's war on Ukraine, President Joe Biden boldly declared he was ready to seize "ill-begotten gains" of the region's oligarchs.

But in the years before Moscow twice invaded Ukraine, Democrats enriched themselves politically and personally from such oligarchs and businesses in the region while empowering Vladimir Putin with energy and technology deals that still haunt America today.

Our best-selling book "Fallout: Nuclear Bribes, Russian Spies and the Washington Lies that Enriched the Clinton and Biden Dynasties" chronicled how a failed "reset" in U.S.-Russia relations led by Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton relied on an appeasement strategy that ultimately backfired with Russia.

Putin's spoils were measured in billions of dollars in uranium contracts with U.S. utilities, expanded oil imports and transfers of sensitive technologies.

The American dynasties counted their victories in millions of dollars in donations to the Clinton Foundation, speech fees to Bill Clinton, and lucrative board seats and consulting deals for Hunter Biden.

The appeasement policy began in February 2009. Russia had invaded its neighbor and former client state, Georgia, six months earlier. The lame-duck George W. Bush administration planned to put missile defense structures in Eastern Europe to deter Russian aggression against its neighbors.

But one of the Obama-Biden administration's first foreign policy maneuvers was to cancel that plan via a "secret letter" to Putin's placeholder, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Why? U.S. leaders apparently wanted to make deals with Russia, and giant missile silos in Putin's backyard were a nonstarter for Moscow.

But the canceled missile defense in Eastern Europe was only the beginning in a long line of concessions to Russia that not only emboldened Putin, but advanced Russian military capabilities in ways that are now having deadly consequences for Ukrainian civilians (think hypersonic missiles) while threatening the global economy.

"The last few years have seen a dangerous drift in relations between Russia and the members of our Alliance," Biden said at the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 7, 2009. "It is time — to paraphrase President Obama — it's time to press the reset button and to revisit the many areas where we can and should be working together with Russia." Biden thus gave voice to what became the "Russia Reset" policy, embodied a month later when Clinton famously pushed a literal red "reset" button with her Russian counterpart.

By 2010, the Obama-Biden-Clinton Russian reset was in full swing. The administration put forth a mutual nuclear disarmament treaty known as "New START," which, while noble in its declared intentions, risked weakening a compliant partner such as the United States while strengthening a Russia not constrained by the rules.

Another deal that Obama, Biden, and Clinton gave the Russians was called the "123 Agreement," which allowed state-owned Russian entities like nuclear behemoth Rosatom to sell nuclear materials directly to U.S. utility companies.

Russian ambassador to Syria: Israel is provoking us to react

The Russian ambassador complained that Israeli strikes aim to "escalate tensions and allow the West to carry out military activities in Syria."

Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Efimov warned Thursday that Israeli strikes in Syria are “provoking” Russia to react, in one of the strongest Russian condemnations of Israeli operations in Syria.

Efimov additionally complained that Israeli strikes aim to “escalate tensions and allow the West to carry out military activities in Syria.”

The statement comes amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, which Israeli officials have condemned. Israel has also provided hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine and opened a field hospital in the country.

Earlier this month, the Russian embassy in Israel said that it saw military coordination with Israel in Syria continuing, saying: “Our military officials discuss the practical issues of this substantively on a daily basis. This mechanism has proven to be useful and will continue to work.”

In January, Syrian and Russian military jets jointly patrolled the airspace along Syria’s borders, including near the Golan Heights, with plans to make such flights regularly, the Interfax news agency quoted Russia’s defense ministry as saying.

In February, Russia stated during a meeting of the UN Security Council that it does not recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

The last Israeli airstrike in Syria was reported on March 7 when an alleged Israeli airstrike targeted sites near the Damascus airport and the Al-Assad suburb, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reporting that two of its officers were killed in the strike.

The IRGC warned a few days after the attack that “the Zionist regime will undoubtedly pay the price for such a crime.”

Russian Su-34 Bombers Are Now Using Advanced EW System To Jam Ukrainian Air Defenses

Russian Su-34 fighter bombers have apparently begun to use an advanced electronic warfare (EW) system to jam Ukraine’s remaining air defenses.

On March 24, the TASS news agency released footage showing a formation of Su-34 fighters preparing for a combat mission over Ukrainian. One of the fighters was carrying the advanced EW system, the SAP-14, to provide protection for the formation.

The SAP-14 system primary mission is to jam advanced air defenses during ground attack missions by imitating electronic signatures of various aircraft and generating false targets within enemy sensors.

The EW system, which was developed the Kaluzhsky Scientific Research Radio-Technical Institute (KNIRTI), covers ground-to-air and air-to-air threats in the D and F bands and is deployed in one large, centerline pod.

The system was designed to be installed on a single heavy fighter, like the Su-30 or the Su-34, along with two SAP-518 jamming pods.

The Russian Aerospace Forces have apparently began using the EW system to protect fighter bomber formations supporting the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine. The system is likely being used to jam Ukraine’s remaining medium and long-range air-defense systems, like the Buk-M1 and the S-300. These systems managed to shot down a number of warplanes in the early days of the Russian operation.

The Russian military is currently working to neutralize Ukraine’s remaining air defenses. According to the most recent briefing by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, 189 Ukrainian air defense systems have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation in the country.

Quarantine Slaughterhouse: Numbers Are Coming in on Non-COVID Deaths During Lockdowns

As the nation all-too slowly emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic nightmare we’ve endured for over two years, we are only beginning to get data back on the myriad horrors brought about by shortsighted policies that were forced upon us in the name of public health.

None of it is pretty.

One would presume that public health policy would protect or foster some sort of, you know, health. Alas, since the government is involved, words don’t always mean what they’re supposed to.

In the rush to mitigate the spread of the COVID virus, public health policy could have best been described as a lot of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. This was understandable and forgivable in the early stages of the pandemic when officials didn’t have any idea about what they were dealing with. As the pandemic wore on, however, it became more about exercising power than saving lives.

Take school shutdowns, for example. Teachers’ unions fought tooth and nail to keep schools closed, acting as if they were on the front lines in the battle of Fallujah and in mortal peril. The consequences for the kids were never taken into account. We’re just beginning to find out about some of the damage that was done. There is no way that the post mortem news on this subject is going to get any better.

We do have the first numbers in about specific non-COVID health-related issues, like alcohol-related deaths.

The New York Times:

Numerous reports have suggested that Americans drank more to cope with the stress of the pandemic. Binge drinking increased, as did emergency room visits for alcohol withdrawal. But the new report found that the number of alcohol-related deaths, including from liver disease and accidents, soared, rising to 99,017 in 2020, up from 78,927 the previous year — an increase of 25 percent in the number of deaths in one year.

That compares with an average annual increase of 3.6 percent in alcohol-related deaths between 1999 and 2019. Deaths started inching up in recent years, but increased only 5 percent between 2018 and 2019.

Gosh, who would have thought that locking people up, denying them contact with sick and dying loved ones, and bombarding them with constant predictions of imminent death would lead more people to drink? A nurse friend of mine alerted me to this problem several months ago, telling me that there were a lot of alcohol-related liver problems showing up at her large hospital as pandemic restrictions eased.

Head of the Gulf Cartel indicted, following ICE HSI, federal partner, assisted investigation

BROWNSILLE, Texas – On Thursday, the head of the Gulf Cartel, Jose Alfredo Cardenas-Martinez, aka El Contador, 42, of Matamoros, Mexico, was indicted on various charges related to his position as the head of the Cardenas family drug trafficking operation known as the Cartel del Golfo.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents assigned to Harlingen working jointly with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and with assistance from U.S. Border Patrol investigated this case. On Nov. 10, 2021, a federal grand jury in Brownsville returned the nine-count indictment. Cardenas-Martinez is currently in custody in Mexico pending litigation on the U.S.’s extradition request.

“Through the joint investigation from our office in Harlingen, in coordination with our Attaché in Mexico and other partners, we were able to gather significant evidence that was instrumental in this case,” said HSI Special Agent in Charge Shane Folden. “HSI and our law enforcement partners will continue to coordinate to dismantle any suspected transnational criminal organizations that threaten public safety.”

“The arrest of Jose Alfredo Cardenas-Martinez serves a tough blow to the Gulf Cartel Organization,” said DEA Special Agent in Charge Daniel C. Comeaux. “It is the culmination of a successful international drug investigation which should disrupt the Gulf Cartel’s ability to smuggle drugs into Texas and other communities.”

According to court documents, Cardenas-Martinez, has been the head of the Gulf Cartel aka Cartel del Golfo or CDG since 2015. He became CDG’s leader following the arrest and later conviction of Jorge Eduardo Costilla-Sanchez aka El Cos. Costilla-Sanchez was CDG’s leader following the arrest and conviction of Cardenas-Martinez’s uncle - Oziel Cardenas-Guillen. Cardenas-Guillen is currently in federal custody serving his sentence. Costilla-Sanchez was also convicted in the Southern District of Texas and is awaiting sentencing. The Gulf Cartel is headquartered in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Cardenas-Martinez is charged in an international conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth, cocaine and fentanyl. The indictment also alleges he possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth, five kilograms of cocaine and 400 grams or more of fentanyl.

As head of the CDG, Cardenas-Martinez allegedly coordinated the shipment of narcotics to the United States for illegal sale across the country. According to the charges, the conspiracy to transport cocaine, meth and fentanyl into the United States began in 2015 and continued through 2021.

If convicted, Cardenas-Martinez faces up to life in prison and a possible $10 million fine. The indictment also includes a notice of forfeiture of any proceeds he made, and property used to facilitate his drug trafficking business.

This prosecution is part of Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation Cold Blooded. OCDETF identifies, disrupts and dismantles the highest-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs and transnational criminal organizations that threaten the United States by using a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach that leverages the strengths of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies against criminal networks.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Karen Betancourt, Southern District of Texas, is prosecuting the case. The Justice Department’s Office of International Affairs also provided substantial assistance.

An indictment is merely an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

HSI is a directorate of ICE and the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), responsible for investigating transnational crime and threats, specifically those criminal organizations that exploit the global infrastructure through which international trade, travel, and finance move. HSI’s workforce of over 10,400 employees consists of more than 7,100 special agents assigned to 220 cities throughout the United States, and 80 overseas locations in 53 countries. HSI’s international presence represents DHS’s largest investigative law enforcement presence abroad and one of the largest international footprints in U.S. law enforcement.

Jack Maxey Declares Hunter Biden Laptop Shows 'Secret Biological Projects' In Ukraine

This story is developing…

CDM will be conducting a live interview with Maxey later today to break more news and will update time as soon as we have it…

Former War Room Pandemic host Jack Maxey, who is now in Switzerland releasing the entire contents of the Hunter Biden ‘laptop from Hell’ on a private server for the world to see, has declared that evidence on the computer shows the Department of Defense, along with the Biden Crime Family, and Ukrainian organized crime, were running ‘secret biological projects’ in Ukraine.

According to Maxey, the projects were run by a company called Metabiota, of which several bad actors had investment stakes.

CDMedia has been discussing the issue with Maxey at length for the last several months.

Maxey details that emails on the device show how Hunter Biden, and the head of the infamous Ukrainian gas company Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky, had stakes in the biological projects, and had been promised a 5x return in three months by those involved.

“They privatized the work of our biological labs at Fort Detrick in the United States and were running the development of these projects in Ukraine,” declared Maxey.

Fort Detrick is the DoD’s biological lab facility and has acknowledged running American biological weapons development programs throughout 1969.

Here we have Hunter Biden taking money from Kolomoisky who just so happens to be the backer of Zelensky. Biden then hands Zelensky $13.6 billion in aid to fight off the evil Putin. I seriously doubt that money will go to aid Ukrainians.

The corruption in Ukraine is so bad, it may even rank as the #1 black hole in the entire world. When will the West wake up?
