Devious Deep State and Big Tech Manipulate the News

The deep state is real.

Its cast members are biased legacy media run by left-wing political activists that traffic propaganda campaigns like the debunked Russia collusion hoax manufactured by the Hillary Clinton campaign, with an assist from the FBI, to kneecap conservatives and Beltway outsiders like Donald Trump.

This corrupt cabal manufactures and leaks "fake news" stories duping the public to benefit the Democratic Party while ignoring real news stories like the New York Post's accurate reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop in the run-up to the election. Add The New York Times that wrongfully dismissed the Post's reporting on it but admitted just last week 17 months after the election the laptop and emails are real.

And last but certainly not least is Big Tech's vast censorship of conservatives and any opinion or news story that strays from its preferred political narrative. They've all colluded to demolish dissent to tip elections in favor of the Democratic Party.

These are some of the chilling revelations Sen. Ron Johnson, ranking member for the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told me during an exclusive interview on Wednesday.

"The laptop sounded like an odd story. So, we were doing our due diligence and reached out to the FBI. Now, they should've been forthright with us and told us what they knew about the laptop, but of course, they didn't. Tony Bobulinski saw our report. He was pretty ticked off that the $5 million that was supposed to go into his joint venture that he was partnering with Hunter Biden all went to the Bidens, so that's when he came forward.

"I'm fully aware of the complicity of the media here. … Special counsel John Durham now is investigating whether Russia hacked the DNC server. I've never been convinced of that. I've never seen evidence of it. The FBI never took possession of that server or did their own forensic analysis. … The Hillary Clinton campaign, through this massive political dirty trick (Russia collusion hoax) and the media's complicity in it, interfered in our election far more than Russia or China ever could have hoped to have accomplished.

"You've got Google using search manipulation to direct votes to Democrats. The social media companies aren't even close to impartial. They are the communication apparatus for the Democratic Party. Google does a lot more than censoring; they manipulate search according to Harvard Ph.D. Dr. Robert Epstein."

I asked Johnson about Section 230. He said: "We should restructure or reform Section 230 to at least force the tech companies to reveal what their content moderation and censorship policies are and deplatform policies. When they don't follow those policies give people cause of action to sue them."

Johnson said: "I've been censored dramatically for bringing the truth to the American public as it relates to COVID, vaccine injuries and early treatment and all those types of things. … It's a travesty.

"I'm disgusted with the deep state. … It's pervasive. It's very deep and populated by leftists. The intelligence operations they've run against me … They produced an intelligence document accusing Sen. Chuck Grassley and I falsely of soliciting and then disseminating Russian disinformation from this guy who we never even heard of. They got it classified and then leaked it to the media. So we had to wait weeks before we even got to see what the press was talking about. I've had other secure briefings set up – to set me up. The last one was an FBI briefing, a defensive briefing to supposedly warn me I was a target of Russian disinformation. I knew why they were having this defensive briefing; it's to leak it to the media and say I was fully aware of it. It's all BS.

"These federal intelligence agencies have lost credibility. They've lost their integrity. That's what Christopher Wray's primary objective was, to restore the credibility of the FBI; he did the exact opposite. He's right there with them. Gina Haspel, the former head of the CIA. This is the deep state. The health care agencies. They've not been honest, transparent or forthright. They haven't provided people with the information to make informed choices throughout COVID. … That's why our Founders wanted to limit the scope of the federal government. That's because when the government grows, your freedom recedes."

He added: "Democrats have no interest in changing the status quo. They want to push censorship even further. They want to regulate speech. They want Congress to tell you what you can and can't say during an election. This is the direction of the Democrats. They like tyranny and totalitarianism. They like a one-party state. That's what they've been pushing. And of course, they already have pretty much a one-party news media….

End of the article

"Now what we conservatives have going for us is we have talk radio. We have the truth, which is powerful. And we still have a free press with some honest journalists. But I do think, long-term, these Big Tech companies are slitting their throats because over time, they will lose roughly half their audience."

Deservedly. Any company that censors opinion and news stories it dislikes, meddles in elections to sway the outcome, and bans elected officials from speaking should be broken up or boycotted once and for all.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson is blasting federal health agencies for their continued coverup of data relating to adverse side effects experienced by people who have received the Covid-19 jab.

In a Wednesday letter exclusively obtained by The Federalist, Johnson criticized the federal government for its lack of transparency over the Covid-19 pandemic, saying he has “written 35 letters to the Executive Branch asking questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the federal government’s response to it” and that the “grossly inadequate response to [his] legitimate oversight demonstrates a level of arrogance toward the American public that is unacceptable.”

“In particular, the lack of transparency from federal health agencies has eroded public confidence … which will take years, and probably a complete restructuring of them, to repair,” he wrote.

The letter was addressed to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Robert Califf, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky.

In his criticism of the agencies and their respective leadership, Johnson cited data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which shows that as of March 18, 2022, the database “has received 1,183,495 worldwide reports of adverse events and 25,641 death reports.”

“Of those deaths, 7,382 (28.8%) occurred on day 0, 1, or 2 following vaccination. It is difficult to understand how this growing number of adverse event reports has not resulted in health agencies conducting significant investigation, taking action, and providing detailed explanations to the American people,” Johnson wrote. “Instead, we have gotten the Mad Magazine Alfred E. Neuman response, ‘What, me worry?'”….

THE TEXAS TORNADO RED TRUCK DRIVER HAS BEEN FOUND & HE’S A HIGH SCHOOLER

by JOE KINSEY

16-year-old high school junior Riley Leon knows just how lucky he is to be alive after driving his red truck through a tornado in Elgin, Texas on his way home from a job interview.

“Seeing the video, I’m like, ‘That’s me in there.’ And I could have not been here, but thank God I am,” Riley, who attends IDEA Rundberg High School in Austin, told Fox7 of his ordeal in his now-iconic red truck.

The high schooler explained that he was on his way home from a job interview at Whataburger in Elgin, just 10 minutes from his house, when things got crazy. “Right when I was going to take the U-turn, that’s when the tornado came and lifted my truck,” he recalled.

Video shot by storm chaser Brian Emfinger shows Riley’s Chevy pickup truck being tossed by the tornado before it is tossed back up on all four tires and the high schooler hauls himself out of danger.

Not wanting to freak out his family, Riley chose to not provide them with the full details, but his mother knew it was his truck. “I can’t imagine him being in there and coming out with only scratches on him,” his mother, Elvia Leon Martinez, said of the incident.

Riley, who is still shook up from the experience, isn’t trying to act as if this was just some incident that he’ll quickly forget.

“Everyone thinks I’m an adult, but, in reality I’m a minor. A 16-year-old that still goes to school,” he told Fox7.

Just a kid lucky to be alive after a moment that will go down in storm history across Texas.

Qatar says replacing Russian gas is impossible

The country refuses to take sides in the Ukraine crisis

Replacing Russian natural gas on the European market is “not practically possible,” Qatari Energy Minister Saad al-Kaabi said in an interview with CNN on Thursday.

The official, who is also the president and CEO of state-owned QatarEnergy, noted that “from 30 to 40% of the total volume of gas supplied to the world market comes from Russia.”

The EU imposed economic sanctions on Moscow over the conflict in Ukraine, and announced it would move towards gradually slashing consumption of Russian natural gas this year. Over 40% of the EU’s gas imports come from Russia.

However, Al-Kaabi said Qatar would not impose sanctions on the Russian oil and gas sector, stressing that “energy should stay out of politics.” According to the minister, Qatar will not take sides in the Ukraine crisis.

Turkey rejects idea of transferring S‑400 air defense systems to Ukraine

Turkey’s president called Russia-supplied missiles “a done deal”

Turkey’s use of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems will not be reversed, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists on Friday as he was flying home from the summit of NATO leaders in Brussels. Western media claimed the US was negotiating a possible transfer of the Russian-made weapons from Turkey to Ukraine, offering various defense concessions in return.

“This is a done deal for us. They are our property serving our defense, so it’s over,” the Turkish leader said, when asked about the S-400 systems.

The Trump administration kicked Ankara out of the F-35 program in retaliation for buying Russian military hardware.

Erdogan said his country’s reaction to the transfer idea was well-summarized in a letter from his spokesman, Fahrettin Altun, published by the Wall Street Journal this week. The official said Washington should reverse the sanctions without any preconditions just to repair relations.

Talking about NATO’s revitalization by the Ukraine crisis, Erdogan remarked that French President Macron, who infamously called the military bloc “brain dead” in 2019, was proven to be wrong. Leaders of member states gathered behind closed doors in Brussels on Thursday to discuss their response to the Russian attack on Ukraine. Turkey reasserted its role as an essential part of the alliance, Erdogan stated.

Unlike other members, Turkey has refused to impose economic sanctions against Russia and has kept diplomatic channels open with both Moscow and Kiev. Erdogan said his country had no intention of hurting itself by breaking economic ties with Russia, its major energy supplier.

“I cannot leave my people in the snow in the winter,” the president said, referring to natural gas supplies from Russia. “I cannot completely stop our industry.”

He expects the pragmatic approach to benefit Turkish tourism, saying he anticipates Russian visitors to be a major source of revenue for the industry in 2022. The financial blockade that the West has imposed on Russia has proven that Ankara was right to suggest switching payments between Turkey and Russia to their national currencies, Erdogan said.

Commenting on Turkey’s mediation efforts between Moscow and Kiev, Erdogan announced that he would be talking to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky later on Friday and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin over the weekend or early next week.

He said the two fighting nations had found common grounds on four out of six principal points of contention during their peace talks. Kiev is unwilling to disregard its sovereignty over Crimea and Donetsk and Lugansk republics, Erdogan said. Zelensky previously said he could put the territorial issues to a referendum, with Moscow suggesting that the proposal was not feasible under the circumstances.

Crimea rejoined Russia in 2014 while the two others regions were recognized by Moscow as sovereign republics days before it launched its attack on Ukraine in late February. Protecting Donetsk and Lugansk from Kiev’s forces was one of the stated goals of the Russian offensive.

Erdogan said the hostilities in Ukraine are a major crisis for the world, both due to the humanitarian damage they were causing and because of the economic impact of the anti-Russian sanctions and Moscow’s counter sanctions.

Turkey was affected indirectly by the potential threat of Ukrainian mines in the Black Sea, which Russia warned may untether and float towards shipping routes through the Turkish Straits. The Turkish navy was working diligently to deal with it, Erdogan said.

Ankara is eager to see a swift peaceful resolution to the situation, he stressed, and is doing its part to make it happen.

Ukraine requests 1,000 missiles per day from US – media

The reported move comes as Russia's military offensive enters its second month

Ukraine has told the US that it urgently needs to be supplied with 500 Javelin anti-tank missiles and 500 Stinger air defense missiles per day, CNN reported on Thursday, citing a document presented to US lawmakers.

Western countries have been sending weapons and military gear to Kiev but President Volodymyr Zelensky says it is not enough to fend off the Russian attack that was launched a month ago.

CNN quoted sources as saying that Ukraine is now asking for “hundreds more” missiles than in previous requests sent to lawmakers. Addressing the leaders of NATO member states via video link on Thursday, Zelensky said he had not received a “clear answer” to the request of “one percent of all your tanks.”

NATO and the US similarly refused to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, or to supply Kiev with Soviet-era warplanes, fearing it could spark direct conflict with Russia. The bloc, nevertheless, reaffirmed its support for Ukraine, while countries like the UK and Sweden promised to send additional anti-tank weapons. US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that “our weapons are flowing into Ukraine as I speak.”

Reuters reported on Thursday that the White House began consultations on delivering anti-ship missiles to Ukraine. “There may be some technical challenges with making that happen but that is something that we are consulting with allies and starting to work on,” an official source told Reuters.

The report came the same day the Ukrainian General Staff claimed that a Russian landing ship was destroyed at the Azov Sea port of Berdyansk, while two other vessels were damaged. Ukrainian officials earlier accused Russian warships of firing at Odessa, a Black Sea port. Russia has not commented on either of these statements.

Moscow attacked Ukraine in late February, following a seven-year standoff over Kiev’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements and Russia’s official recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. The German- and French-brokered protocol had been designed to regularize the status of those regions within the Ukrainian state.

Russia has demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join NATO, while Kiev says the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked, denying claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

Polish PM names 3 EU countries that won’t stop trade relations with Russia

Mateusz Morawiecki claims Germany, Austria, and Hungary are acting as ‘brakes’ for new sanctions amid the Ukraine conflict

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki named three European countries on Friday that oppose blocking trade relations with Russia, and have acted as “brakes” with regard to further sanctions in retaliation to its offensive in Ukraine.

“Poland strongly emphasized the need to limit the trade in hydrocarbons. Unfortunately, large countries, such as Germany, but also small ones, such as Austria and Hungary, are more restrained. They refrain from stopping trade with Russia here and now,” the prime minister said ahead of NATO talks in Brussels, adding that he hopes to convince them to share Poland’s point of view.

Morawiecki said Poland’s stance towards Russia amid the offensive in Ukraine has not changed, and that his country will be pushing for further sanctions to be imposed immediately.

“Those who point out that intensive sanctions are needed here and now are right. The impact of the sanctions in the long and medium term is obviously important, but it does not affect Russia’s decisions towards Ukraine here and now,” he said, adding that it’s important to standardize the approach toward Russia within the EU and NATO.

Moscow attacked the neighboring state in late February, following a seven-year standoff over Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. Russia has demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join NATO, while Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

In retaliation for the Russian offensive, multiple Western countries have imposed unprecedented economic sanctions against Russian organizations and individuals.

Russia restricts assets of ‘unfriendly’ states

The move mirrors sanctions placed on the country’s reserves abroad

Reminder Putin had 8 years to plan for every possibility

The Russian Central Bank (Bank of Russia) on Friday imposed restrictions on the movement of funds to countries that introduced economic sanctions against Russia in connection with its military operation in Ukraine.

“In response to the partial freezing of Russian reserves, Russia also introduced restrictions on the movement of funds that could be transferred to unfriendly countries, for a comparable amount,” a statement on the website of the Bank of Russia reads.

The regulator explained that it is essentially applying a “mirror measure,” banning the movement of capital, the sale of securities by foreign investors, and their withdrawal of funds from the Russian financial system.

In addition, payments on the corporate debt of Russian companies and government debt to holders from countries that support sanctions against Russia can now only take place with the permission of a government commission

India cancels UK delegation visit – media

Modi will not be pressured

London is trying to persuade India to take action against Russia amid the Ukraine conflict

A visit of a high-ranking UK delegation to India, consisting of members of different political parties and led by House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle, was called off at the last moment by the Indian authorities, The Guardian reported on Thursday.

According to the article, the delegation of 10 high-ranking British officials had been in discussions with India since January and had plans to visit New Delhi and Rajasthan. The original goal of the delegation was reportedly to discuss a UK-India free trade deal, but the objective changed in the context of Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine. The delegates were planning to persuade New Delhi to take a tougher stance towards Moscow, The Guardian says.

It was reported that the Indian High Commission changed its decision and raised objections at the last minute. It is unclear whether the Indian officials had issues with individual members of the delegation or were concerned in general about the British Parliament members that sought to persuade the Indian prime minister to take action against Russia, The Guardian reports.

On Tuesday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a phone call with Indian PM Narendra Modi. The two leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine, as Modi called for the end of hostilities and respect for Ukraine’s sovereignty. Modi informed his UK counterpart about India’s humanitarian support, while Johnson said both countries “should intensify efforts to promote peace and de-escalation in the region.”

India so far has not imposed sanctions nor denounced Moscow for the military action in Ukraine, and continues to buy Russian oil despite pressure from the international community. India has been reluctant to cut ties with Russia, and is currently discussing mechanisms to switch to ruble-rupee trade.

Last week, the UK representatives expressed disappointment over India’s neutral position towards Russia, but expressed hope that its views would change, as the nation continues to be a major trading partner for the UK.

On Thursday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in India on an unannounced visit for high-level talks with External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. It was presumed that the talks would center on the geopolitical situation amid the Russian military operation in Ukraine, while India was expected to continue discussions on the China-India territorial dispute in the Ladakh region, the Times of India reported.

Prankster Lexus who tricked UK defence secretary reveals details to RT

He said the footage of the video call was only edited to keep sensitive British national security information from the public

One of the Russian pranksters behind the call to UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, Alexey Stolyarov, AKA Lexus, dismissed London’s claim that the conversation was Russian propaganda. The team did not doctor the footage, only editing it with the sole purpose of keeping sensitive UK national security information from the public, Lexus told RT on Thursday.

Alexey Stolyarov, AKA Lexus, and fellow prankster Vladimir Kuznetsov, AKA Vovan, posed as Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal to trick Wallace into discussing various policy issues, including London’s stance on Kiev potentially seeking nuclear weapons. The Defence Ministry asked YouTube to censor the video call, claiming it was “doctored by the Russian state.”

Branding the interview as “Russian propaganda” was puzzling to the team, Stolyarov told RT. “We did not edit his words, his speech. So if it’s propaganda, then it’s propaganda of Secretary Wallace. It’s his words,” he said.

He confirmed that some parts of the original footage of the video call were kept from the public, but said the decision to withhold them was for the benefit of Britain. Wallace did not discuss British state secrets with the pranksters, but some of his words were “sensitive” with regard to national security, Stolyarov claimed, so he and Kuznetsov acted like “gentlemen” and did not publish those details.

He claimed the successful prank was the second time they have attempted to trick Wallace into talking to them. The first time was three years ago, when he was serving as minister of state for security and economic crime, but they couldn’t get through to him. This time they succeeded because the team used a contact in the Home Office which they also tricked into letting them interview Home Secretary Priti Patel, Stolyarov said.

The prankster said his friends in Britain were shocked that an official holding such a sensitive office as that of defence secretary could have been deceived by them. “If it’s easy to reach him by just private persons, you could imagine what could happen if some persons from intelligence try to reach him,” he said.

Stolyarov said his team was not particularly concerned about being on the British government’s bad side after deceiving Wallace. After all, he said, they did nothing criminal, as was the case with the many other pranks they pulled over the years on public figures from various countries.
