Would it make more sense for these people who want to help with the gas crisis(donations of 10k-20k) that instead of buying tankful's of gas(roughly $80 - $100/each) which would mean that you are only helping a few hundred people…you could just give it to the gas station if they reduced it $1.00/gal(gas price would drop from 4.00/gal to 3.00/gal)…that way you would only be giving out $20.00 discount and it would go a longer way…
1 person = 1 tank = $100.00 x 100 people = 10,000 in gas donations…
10,000 donation to a gas station on $1.00 off gas price = 10,000 gallons…= 1 person@20/gals $80 instead of paying $100.00…
And saving $20/person to be spread out more evenly…
but that's just me…hope my math is correct…just started on my coffee…
