Trump filed a CIVIL ACTION against the defendants. It has not been accepted as of yet.
Once it is accepted, the other side has time to respond to all of the allegations, and there will be motions filed, such as motions to dismiss, counter-claims, etc.
It will be a very long process.
Once all of that stuff is worked out, the Trump team will request discovery, which will be enormous, and will take perhaps months to pour over the documents, etc., and then there will be lots of fights in court over what is admissible and what is not admissible.
In the meantime, certain defendants will play "Monty Hall and Let's Make a Deal" where they will come in on the side of Trump provided that they get something favorable out of it.
Certain defendants will try to settle out of court, and it is a huge fucking mess.
