The Smiths or The Cure
The chicks into the Smiths and the replacements were a bit to artsy. Their broods developed into these winy fuckers called Antifa. REM chicks were fun but I married a The Cure/Metallica/Sussie and the Banshees chick and never looked back.
So.. being as that my really bad garage band does Boy Don't Cry I would say The Cure.
