If Congress wants to pass a bill, it should vote on that individual bill. It’s not complicated. Yet, surprisingly, that’s not how things are operating under Nancy Pelosi.

The latest example was Pelosi holding hostage funding for Ukraine for weeks so she could use it to sweeten a massive government spending bill with all kinds of junk in it. She knew she’d struggle to pass the junk by itself, so she combined it with Ukraine aid and forced President Volodymyr Zelensky and millions of Ukrainians to wait for weeks in their bunkers before passing this aid.

Hours after President Joe Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken made clear the United States does not plan to pursue regime change in Russia.

"I think the president, the White House, made the point last night that, quite simply, President Putin cannot be empowered to wage war or engage in aggression against Ukraine or anyone else," Blinken said Sunday during a press conference in Jerusalem.

"As you know, and as you have heard us say repeatedly, we do not have a strategy of regime change in Russia, or anywhere else, for that matter,” he said.

President Joe Biden is facing backlash from Republicans after he said Russian President Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power" during a speech in Poland on Saturday.

Delivering the speech in Warsaw, the president said: "We will have a different future—a brighter future rooted in democracy and principle; hope and light, decency and dignity; of freedom of possibilities. For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power."

After the speech, the White House immediately moved to walk back the comments and clarify that Biden was not calling for a regime change. However, his remarks still came under fire from members of the GOP this weekend.

When asked about Putin's remarks in Poland on Fox News, Representative Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio, said: "I think you could say here's a president potentially having more war-triggering type language than probably any president in American history. So we need to be careful, we need to be precise in things we say, particularly the commander-in-chief of our country."
