>uhh, isn't the entire control matrix dedicated to keeping us from ascending
I would caution you against ascribing human motivations to non-human phenomena. Ironically that's actually one element which forms the matrix.

>wtf is an oscars clip?
Pretty sure it's a short video clip taken from the Oscar's broadcast…
Best I can do is half the bread.
Sorry for the autistic tangent, but the topic of what is or is not a disease is actually really interesting. Ultimately all "diseases" are just conditions which are viewed negatively by a society. The entire thing is rooted upon having a concept of what should be considered a base "undiseased" state. Some things, like plague, are very easy to find consensus for accepting as a disease, but other things like autism are a lot less clear and attitudes on it have changed much more recently. Probably one of the best examples is intersexed people, who actually used to be considered blessed by the gods in some societies.
Anyways, that's the round about way to get to my point: That he's just exploiting people's emotional attachment to the word disease, instead of it's proper definition.
But really, he's just doing what celebrities are paid to do: Teach the masses that behaving like emotionally unstable teenagers is normal and acceptable behaviour for adults.
Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk. Here's some boob.
