Today, I received word that my ex-wife has died. An old friend died last month. Considering that my social circle is rather small, that's a really high death stat. Are these both vax deaths? I don't know but it's scary.

Astoundingly, my wife's family won't be paying the cremation bill. Seriously? Her adopted parents are well-to-do and they're letting her go at the city's expense? I have just emailed the funeral director and offered to pay the expenses. She doesn't deserve to die on the cheap like that.
