Not to come off as uncaring, but disposal of hazardous waste (bodies) is a community issue, and OUGHT to be performed as a community service via taxes. Fees, licenses, permits, permission, competition, & advertising, all contribute to the just-in-time price gouging of funerary services. Another great feature of capitalism in a devoutly religious society.

Bodies are burned in open pits in India…for free.

Think about the origins of "afterlife" worship…the Death Cults of Egypt, with their massive funerary preparations. That the source of the work of the "priests"…religion..death provides them a never ending supply of profitable work.

Do Jews Believe in Angels

And from the Book of Daniel 9:21 and 10:21, we know that angels have names: Gabriel and Michael, although in the book they are referred to as a man and a prince in some translations. Jewish lore has established that there are four angels who attend God’s throne: Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Penuel… the “el” part of each name means “God” and shows that a part of God dwells within each one…and the Shechinah hovers over them all.
