>Was it a double eagle.

No. It was a par 3 hole. It is an eagle (2 under par) but they call it a hole in one. A hole in one on a par 4 hole would be a double eagle. A 2 on a par 5 is the most common double eagle although they are very rare. I almost made one. My second shot landed on the greem, took a 5-6 ft. bounce the a few dribbles then a roll to the hole. The ball landed about 20 feet from the hole. The ball lipped the cup on the left side made a right turn spinning around the lip and settled less than an inch from the hole. I didn't see it. It was early morning and there was dew on the green.

5 iron 181 yards into the wind is fantastic for a 75 year old man. DJT has to have a great golf swing to do than. Played in an old-timer league, 3 days a week. 90% of the over 70's could hit driver maybe 180 yards with a good roll.

It's all in the swing. When your young and athletic you can get it to par and even under every so often with a bad swing. It's the swing. And nobody knows what the golf swing is. Tiger Woods went through how many swing coaches?
