WASHINGTON: "The United States is sending six US Navy radar-jamming aircraft to Germany to enhance NATO capabilities, the Pentagon said on Monday. The EA-18G Growler aircraft are "not being deployed to be used against Russian forces in Ukraine", Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said. "They are being deployed completely in keeping with our efforts to bolster NATO's deterrence and defence capabilities along that eastern flank." He said the aircraft, a modified version of the F/A-18, specialise in electronic warfare, using sensors to confuse enemy radars and air defence systems.

The Pentagon spokesman said 240 navy personnel were to accompany the aircraft to Germany."

Representative Carey: How will spending $1.4 million on a new Office of Environmental Justice at DOJ help our law enforcement agencies do their job in tackling the crime crisis in America.

Young [OMB Director]: There is one county…where people's sewage actually goes into their backyard. They have never had a sewage system…people of color, low-income, we think something is wrong with that.

Carey: And that should be part of the law enforcement agency?

Young: Where there are illegal activities, DOJ needs the tools to make sure all Americans are treated evenly under the law, even environmental issues.

Mr. Biden: We're deeply concerned by the continuing suffering and violence in Burma, following last year's military coup. A coup that caused humanitarian crisis, and reversed a decade of democratic and economic progress for the people of Burma.
