poker chats are archived. I used to plat often and there were hackers and cheats that gathered chips to sell black market style cheaper than the site. One hacking scheme had the ability to sort chat archives for an account to pull up all things said on that account. I don't know how long the archive was saved but I saw it myself when my own chat compiled over many tables was shown in a single room chat box. It was shown to me to get me to leave the table/room (as intimidation)
