I've never heard of Celeste Wallander, testifying now in a House Committee; according to this RedState article, she was apparently instrumental in getting the phony Muller investigation started, and is some kind of [criminal] associate of Fiona Hill.

Smearing President Trump as a 'Russian asset' is something Wallander was pushing hard:

"On March 8th, before [Fiona] Hill was scheduled to meet with her staff for the first time, she had breakfast with Celeste Wallander, at the Blue Duck Tavern, near Georgetown. Wallander had worked as Obama’s White House adviser on Russia, and she and Hill had crossed paths for more than twenty years. There was clear evidence that Trump and members of his circle had coordinated with the Russians, Wallander said. Trump’s recent attack on NATO as being “obsolete” showed that he intended to do whatever Putin wanted."

Gaetz: Why does the president keep speaking out against U.S. Policy?

[regime change in Russia, use of chemical weapons, sending troops to Ukraine]

Wallander: He is..uh..appalled by the horrors of what Russia is wreaking in Ukraine.

Toomey: The top 1% make about 20% of all the income, pay about 40% of all the taxes, and you [OMB Young] and the president's budget say that that's not their fair share…their fair share must be much higher.

Scott: The budget is up four fold [in twenty years], and the population has only gone up 16%. How does that make any sense?

Young [OMB]: The bulk of that number is Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security. We have structural issues in this country, including aging of the population.

Scott: We've got $30 trillion worth of debt, and you're projecting another $14 trillion of debt. What's the max? You're taking it almost to $45 trillion in the next ten years…when does this end? When can we not pay this anymore?

Young [OMB]: The bulk of this is entitlements, and the president is not putting forth a proposal to cut those.
