They know the penalty for treason is death…customarily hanging. Since they control the corrupt courts, they are worried about 2/3 rds of the country becoming vigilantes and cleaning this sh*t up the old fashioned way with ropes and telephone poles.
Frankly, the enemy belligerent occupation passing laws about how not to dispatch them is kind of ironic in a way.
Putting their hands on people's kids is about where even sheep drop any pretense of civility.
