Putin orders phaseout of foreign software

Moscow seeks to reduce dependence on foreign tech in critical infrastructure

Russian President Vladimir Putin has passed an executive order banning the purchase of foreign software for use in critical infrastructure projects, in an apparent bid to make the country less vulnerable to further Western sanctions and potential cyberattacks.

Effective Thursday, the order allows for the purchase of foreign software for critical infrastructure purposes only if permitted by “a federal executive body duly authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation.” Additionally, any government body or customer must phase out the use of foreign software on their sensitive systems by no later than the start of 2025.

Regulators were ordered to release requirements for software that will be used in critical infrastructure within a month, along with the rules for coordinating the purchase of foreign software and related services for use on sensitive sites.

Putin’s executive order also seeks to prioritize the use of domestic radio, electronic and telecom-related tech over foreign equipment, with measures aimed at achieving this goal to be released within six months. A research and production association focused on manufacturing “trusted software and hardware systems for critical information infrastructure” is also supposed to be organized by the end of September at the latest

Lavrov: Russia, China Moving Towards Multipolar 'Fair World Order'

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with his Chinese counterpart on Wednesday, where he said the two are carving a path towards a 'fairer world order.'

The meeting between Lavrov and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, marks the first visit to a key ally since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, according to The Economic Times.

The two countries will work to achieve "a multipolar, fair, and democratic world order," Lavrov said, speaking from the Chinese city of Tunxi located in the eastern inland Anhui Province.

In a video released by the Russian foreign ministry ahead of a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Lavrov said the world was "living through a very serious stage in the history of international relations".

At the end of this reshaping of global relations "we, together with you, and with our sympathisers will move towards a multipolar, just, democratic world order", Lavrov said. -Economic Times

Lavrov and Yi were seen on Chinese state TV in face masks bumping elbows in front of their national flags shortly before the meetings - which Lavrov will attend - to discuss ways to help Afghanistan.

Both the US and the Taliban are expected to be in attendance.

US officials have grown frustrated with Beijing's refusal to condemn the invasion of Ukraine, and have accused China of signalling a "willingness" to provide both economic and military aid to Russia.

According to Russia's state-owned TASS news agency, Wang said that despite "new challenges" to relations between China and Russia, "the will of both sides to develop bilateral relations has become even stronger."

Earlier this month Wang said that China's relationship with Russia is "one of the most crucial bilateral relationships in the world," and is "ironclad."

For months, there have been many people sounding the alarm over the at-home Covid-19 rapid test, saying that the kits include toxic substances that pose health risks – something that has been widely condemned by the establishment as a wild conspiracy theory.

Now, even public health officials can’t ignore the dangers posed by these tests.

Earlier this month, the Ohio Poison Control Center issued a nationwide warning about Covid-19 rapid antigen tests after toxicology experts found the kits include a dangerous and toxic substance that is used most commonly in car airbags and pest control chemicals.

The poisonous substance in these test kits is called Sodium Azide, which has a “high” acute toxicity and can be fatal to humans in cases of overexposure, according to Stanford Medical. The presence of this toxic substance was apparently only found by Poison Control researchers after the winter wave of Omicron, which saw many Americans testing at home with the kits.

Following this uptick in at-home testing, according to WHIO TV7, drug and poison centers across the country experienced a large increase in cases involving Sodium Azide, which prompted the Ohio Poison Control to issue their warning.

The liquid Sodium Azide is located within the extraction tube inside the kits and the substance is colorless tasteless and odorless.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital toxicologist Dr. Sheila Goertemoeller, who is a member of the Ohio Poison Control Center, spoke with WHIO7 about the agency’s decision to issue the nationwide warning. She explained that the other 54 Poison Centers in America have seen a similar upswing in Sodium Azide poisonings, amounting to “more than a couple hundred” across the country as of late.

Goertemoeller also admitted that her colleagues were “surprised” and “concerned” that such a highly toxic substance is being used in the test kits.

Nearly 60 million people have already received a free at-home Covid test from the Biden administration, most of which were passed out this winter, according to WHIO7 News.

Now Rove could face criminal charges for suborning perjury, along with Catherine Linkul. Linkul is the VP of strategy for a DC-insider firm run by Mitch McConnell’s key lieutenant, Phil Cox. Linkul is also Sheena Greitens’ sister, and Sheena Greitens said in a tweet that she gave these accusations to her immediate family. Suspiciously, the allegations in Greitens’ false exhibit were notarized in Washington, D.C., just blocks from the office of McConnell’s Lieutenant.

Donald Trump reacts to Clinton campaign, DNC fines: 'Corruption is only beginning to be revealed'

Trump called the Steele Dossier "a Hoax funded by the DNC and the Clinton Campaign."

Former President Donald Trump celebrated the news that Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee face Federal Elections Commission fines for disguising Steele dossier payments through a law firm, saying "this corruption is only beginning to be revealed."

Trump relayed his statement through spokesperson Liz Harrington on Wednesday.

The DNC agreed to pay a $105,000 fine, and the Clinton campaign agreed to a $8,000 fine, Just the News reported.

"Just out that the 2016 Clinton Campaign and the DNC paid the FEC today for violating the law by failing to disclose that their payments for 'legal advice and services' to law firm Perkins Coie was, in fact, a guise to hire numerous companies, all of whom are now named Defendants in my lawsuit, to try and take down and illegally destroy your favorite President, me," he wrote.

The former president filed a lawsuit last week against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the DNC, Perkins Coie law firm, prominent Democrats and others. The case claims, "Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty."

In his statement Wednesday, Trump said, "This was done to create, as I have stated many times, and is now confirmed, a Hoax funded by the DNC and the Clinton Campaign."

The FEC found that the DNC and Clinton's failed 2016 presidential campaign paid more than $1 million through Perkins Coie to Fusion GPS, the opposition research group that produced the Steele dossier.

"This corruption is only beginning to be revealed, is un-American, and must never be allowed to happen again," Trump said. "Where do I go to get my reputation back?"

The War for Young Minds

And the LGBTQIA+ agenda for kindergarteners

The failure to appreciate danger, or the refusal to take seriously the promises of the adversary, are often the result of a deficiency of imagination.

We look in shock at the indoctrination – and resulting sexualization – of the young, surprised that a secular progressive movement would go after the softest of minds. We fail to predict the application of evil because we cannot imagine such evil in ourselves.

After all, who amongst us would teach students that the family unit is racist and prejudicial, or that religion is homophobic?

Or instruct 5 – 7 year olds on “gender identity?”

Or provide rainbow flags and buttons to 3rd graders (and instruct those students they must not tell their parents about what was discussed during school pride week)?

Or force kids to attend a school-wide pride parade?

Then there is Chicago’s plans to give condoms to elementary school students, and the National Association Independent Schools’ plans to teach “queer-inclusive” curriculum to kindergarteners. I could go on, but there is only so much time and space.

What makes all this so much worse is that the State compels the students to attend these schools. You will attend. You will be re-educated. You will like it. The lurking danger of public schooling (and the reason why compulsory public schooling must be opposed) - the danger of what would happen when progressives have control - has emerged.

Anyway, if we call this a war for the children, we must also recognize the strategy of the adversary.

What we are seeing in 2022 is the long revolution’s focus on public schools. This was planned.

For years, progressives have recognized that schools must be converted to a type of national church, emphasizing their secular values and identities. In the past, the ministers of this national church scolded America in broad terms that it would “lose its soul” – and thus be condemned to a worldly hell – “if it did not devote itself to a “conscious social ideal.”1 They wished American students would be able to see “the struggle for social justice as central to their country’s moral identity.”2

As summarized by Marxist literary figure Raymond Williams:

“If we believe in a particular social character, a particular set of attitudes and values, we naturally believe that the general education which follows from these is the best that can be offered to anyone: it does not feel like ‘indoctrination,’ or even ‘training’; it feels like offering to this man the best that can be given.”3

It’s now 2022 and look at their success. Back in 2011, they proposed that “Comprehensive sexuality education should start in kindergarten.” They can now say: “Comprehensive sexuality education is starting in kindergarten.” Dreams become reality. Imagination.

An almost unprecedented op-ed in The Jerusalem Post lashed out at both America and Iran, while implicitly praising Israel's steadfastness against Tehran, and it was authored by a Saudi… more precisely the former editor of the kingdom's Al Arabiya English, Mohammed Alyahya. The op-ed blasts Washington efforts to restore the Iran nuclear deal by the Biden administration, questioning: If the Americans won’t side with Israel against Iran, what’s the chance they will side with us?

In the scathing critique perhaps signaling just how close the Vienna talks are to restoring the JCPOA, the author writes in the Israeli newspaper, "Sold disingenuously to the American public as an arms control agreement, the deal is an assault on the regional order that the United States established in the aftermath of World War II. Explicitly hostile to Saudi Arabia, to say nothing of America’s other greatest ally in the region, Israel, the deal replaces the former American-led regional security structure with a concert system in which Iran, backed by Russia and China, becomes America’s new subcontractor while America’s former allies—the Gulf States and Israel— are demoted to second-tier status."
